  3. I forgot to add that I drink an average of 7 glasses of water a day and I lost 12lbs preop and 17 post op for a total of 29lbs.
  4. I was sleeved 06/26/2012 and have had no problems, I have kept my protein intake at the doctors recommendation of 60 and above (most days), i am taking my multi-vitamin, sub-lingual B12 and calcium citrate. I have religiously walked 10,000 steps every day since one week post op. The last 2 weeks I was able to walk 12,000 steps, but as of Monday I am extremely tired, (tired enough to not want to get out of bed) i am really struggling with getting 10,000 steps in. I had stopped taking the unjury protein and was getting most of my protein from eggs, chicken and fish. As of yesterday I started the unjury again and have started to feel slightly better but am not where I would like to be energy wise please advise on what I should do.
  5. I had my surgery at Mercy with Dr Gersin on 06/26/2012. Wish you the best of luck and a speedy recovery. See you at the support groups
  6. Good luck and a speedy recovery
  7. I love my fitbit too
  8. The unflavored unjury is easier to cover. Some people add it to their eggs, and mashed potatoes. I blend two scoops with mango, ice and an oz of almond milk to sip through the day.
  9. I am 4 weeks post op but for the first 2 weeks i could only sleep on my left side with a pilllow at my back and hugging another to my abdomen. Now i can sleep on either side, my back and my stomach.
  10. I am so glad it was not a leak! I have had both kids and a kidney stone and would never want to either again
  11. Wow! You look amazing! This is so inspiring, thank you for posting.
  12. I worried myself sick before the surgery i gave up all carbs and would work out like crazy so I could deplete all the glycogen in my liver. I lost 10lbs before surgery on the two week preop diet. Every thing will be fine. Good luck!
  13. Have you tried your doctors office?
  14. You can wear silk scarves till you feel comfortable with the results of your chin exercises. Ross usually has a great selection at a convenient price.
  15. Health wise makes barbecue crunch protein chips. They come in bags of 1.2oz 130 calories 10g of protien. My doctors office sells them for 1.50.
  16. Yup. I have no sleep apnea and am a very light sleeper, they would have to sedate me forthe study which would invalidate the test results. I had the surgery without the sleep study
