  1. You look gorgeous! Amazing job, cant wait to join the century club!
  2. I think you are overthinking it, most people are so busy eating their own meal they probably won't notice at all, and if they ask why you are not eating you can tell them that their conversation and company is so interesting you would rather enjoy them now and take the food home to eat later
  3. Good luck and a speedy recovery
  4. Cant wait to try them once i am allowed solid foods after surgery again
  5. Today is day six of my preop diet. The first 48 hours were the hardest! My nut says to eat lettuce, cucumbers annd celery as well as tomatoes, but to keep carbs under 30gm. I am allowed nonfat creamy soups and a teaspoon of peanut butter if i cant shake thehunger. I am taking the profect bullets to keep up my protien intake at 100+gm per day. My nut doesnt like them but they are easier for me, i feel bad that i am not following instructions but i am lactose intolerant and i can not see myself adding unjury to my salad. I made a batch of soup with the 3 oz of meat i am allowed for the week, i can not stand the canned soups, so i was so glad to see this thread and find that i am not the only one struggling. Love you all
  6. Wish you success each step of the way
  7. I am referring to the preop liquid diet
  8. My nut advised to chew on celery, broccoli and cucumbers whenever i had an urge to chew and if i could not get rid of hunger pangs to eat a tsp of natural peanut butter or a 1/4 cup of nuts.

  17. I am trying to come to terms with both philosophies, I know I will be terrified of gaining back the weight, yet if I can't sit at the table and eat with my family it will alienate me. Suggestions would be great
