And let me say that Dr Garcia and his team are great at performing weight loss surgeries. when we choose a surgeon for such an invasive procedure, what's important is his surgical competency. I would recommend him without hesitation. If you choose to use him you will be in good hands.

I went for my 1 year check with my surgeon I he said I am doing great! I have never had a BMI low enough to be classified as overweight, and now I do. I still have work to do, but to move from morbidly obese to overweight in a year is huge for me! How are you guys doing?

Hey everyone!! How the amount of support you guys are giving me is beyond words! How do you thank anyone for that!
I flew in to dallas nearly passing out at the airport and the worst part was i still had to go through customs and baggage claim and if you know the international part it's the worst. When I got to my family they immediately took me to the hospital where I was told I was nearly severely dehydrated
I was put on IV fluids all day an night and I jus about felt weak I still do but alot better!
They also did a cat scan on my and thank god everything was okay internally because when I got to the dr I was running a fever and they were thinking maybe I had an infection! But the nightmare is over
It looks like I'm also scared of food, I'm scared it'll do me damage and the doctor said I have to get over that fear!
If anyone follows my youtube you know my aunt had been giving me a hard time. If she would of took me maybe this could have been avoided but I'm thankful im back in my family's arms and in a supportive environment including this one!!!

I shopped at Walmart, Khols and consignment shops. A year ago I was a size 18. Now I'm a size 2-4.

So as not to bore you, my story is almost exactly the same as NTVTXN...quick to goal, same weight, blah blah. I will be three years out in September. I am at surgeons goal, but am over my own personal goal, holding there for about a year.
I was 15 pounds lighter at one point, but was way too skinny and when I looked at pictures of myself I looked unhealthy. Then menopause hit about a year ago. BAM, 10 pounds added within two months.
Yes I would like to lose 5 pounds and can do this within a month if I eat correctly as my sleeve allows. But, sadly I eat like I used to which is bad, really bad. I eat crud and slider food. Am I hungry? Not physically hungry but I am mentally hungry. Mind games. Know what I need to do.
Conclusion, you map your own success. Follow the diet plan and you too can be successful. Eat crud often and you will gain back weight.
