  2. I went for my 1 year check with my surgeon I he said I am doing great! I have never had a BMI low enough to be classified as overweight, and now I do. I still have work to do, but to move from morbidly obese to overweight in a year is huge for me! How are you guys doing?

  6. I'm so glad I found you all! I hit my year mark and have only lost 64lbs. I know 64lbs is a lot, but I wanted to lose a lot less. The case manager at my doctor said I should only lose about 60% of my goal and my goal was 100lbs, so I guess I'm on track. I have weighed 180lbs for the last 3 months. Thank you for all your inspiring stories. They are motivating me to do more!

  11. All the posts make me feel better. I was sleeved 6/12/12 and I having the same fluctuations. I'm working out at least 4-5 times a week now. I do find that my clothes are bigger, but those numbers on the scale frustrate me. I understand that muscle weighs more, but seeing those numbers go up just irritates me.
  12. Don't feel bad. You're surgery is working because you lost 40 lbs. I get frustrated too when I see those that are already at the 100 lb mark and I'm only down 52 lbs. Good job!

  14. Hit my 6 months on 12/12. My beginning weight was 241 and I'm down to 188.6. Weight loss has been slow, but its coming off. I feel great! I need to get into the gym more. I think the weight would fall off more. I find that I'm losing more inches than pound which is great!

  17. I was sleeved June 12th. So far so good. Pre op weight was 242. I am now down to 218. I did hit a week where I didn't lose wieght. Just this week, it just started falling off. I find it difficult getting in all the water and protein.
