  14. Stick to the diet your doc provided! I had a stall at the 2 week mark and it didn't start again until the 4 week mark! Yes a 2 weeks stall! But now I am down 20kg since may 15th, my surgeryday!
  15. I was able to fly home 4 days after my sleeve. I have to say dr approved it, however make sure it is a fast flight or bring pain killers as longer you sit the more you hurt. But most doctors push you out the door these days. I had surgery may 15th and left may 29th.
  16. Yes I am at home now. Finally. Thank you. Yes it was scary but due to the small stomach now, we have trouble absorbing our food and nutrition, so issues like UC and others, come around because of that. One thing I did learn in the 18 days there was no matter what take liquid vitamins and always eat, drink water. As now our bodies do not even aborsbe the water like it used to.
  17. O I had my sleeve done on may 15th so I am 6 weeks out. From June 10-28 I was in the hospital! While I was in there they found out I have ulcerative colonists ( form of chrons I am told) it is a bowel issue. Swelling and ulcers in my bowel. Now I never had any issues before surgery! My surgery was done in Mexico and I didn't have much issues until then. However good news is I've lost 20kg! In 6weeks! That's over 40 pounds
  18. Thanks it seems so hard not to think about weight loss regardless how we feel, I am still in here and gained weight, but I got sleeved a month ago may 15th and even with the weight gain I've still lost 9kg.
  19. So I was sleeved may 15th and went from 127 kg to 115kg. The. Stopped dead! Then last week June 8th I got sick and been in the hospital ever since. Until June 15 I could eat anythig without being sick but managed to get water down, and have been on iv. I mixed my water with high proton boost so I was getting proten I was also every second glass mixing water with beneprotein powder unflavored 25 cal n 6 grams of proten. Then yesterday I was able to eat chicken broth, amd magic cup! Great thing that is! Magic cup has vitamins and cancer fighting agents, and more plus it has 9g of proten, gluten free. All this stuff was giving to me by the dr. However weight myself and long behold I gained weight back! Now what? My fear is am ever going to lost this weight! Still in hospital with iv and potasuom
  20. Hi, I was sleeved on may 15th in Mexico at hospital jerulasm in Mexico my dr. Mario I am happy with my sleeve, I am from Canada and flew alone! It was great. My tip is to tip the drivers and people ( not dr and nurses!)
  21. All depends on your doctor but I had my sleeve may 15th 2012. I was taking my meds may 18th! Whole pills!
  22. I feel your pain. I was sleeved may 15,2012 and my surgery weight was 127.8 now I am 116kg and nothing I hear everyone worried about only losing 40 60 pounds in 4-8 weeks then hit a stall me I've only lost 11kg and hit a stall, got sick and gained weight back! I am on iv not eating but drinking lots, it gets depressing
  23. I had my sleeve on may 15th and have not lost any weight since June 3rd! So 10 days stall so far. I've been told this is normal, then June 11 I got sick and was in the hospital( still am) and gained 3 kg! So 6.6 pounds! How is that possible?
  24. Wow that is such a difference! I can't see an change on me yet?! But I am so happy for you! Your lookig great!
  25. Happens to me before and after surgery. Liquid poop and black or green, so it is normal
