New Issues Now After Surgery

O I had my sleeve done on may 15th so I am 6 weeks out. From June 10-28 I was in the hospital! While I was in there they found out I have ulcerative colonists ( form of chrons I am told) it is a bowel issue. Swelling and ulcers in my bowel. Now I never had any issues before surgery! My surgery was done in Mexico and I didn't have much issues until then. However good news is I've lost 20kg! In 6weeks! That's over 40 pounds

Yes I am at home now. Finally. Thank you.

Yes it was scary but due to the small stomach now, we have trouble absorbing our food and nutrition, so issues like UC and others, come around because of that. One thing I did learn in the 18 days there was no matter what take liquid vitamins and always eat, drink water. As now our bodies do not even aborsbe the water like it used to.

Congrats on the weight loss! I am also a May sleever and have lost over 40lbs!! I hope you are feeling better and all is well.
