I hear ya girl!!!

Sweet...I have all that junk submitted...Curves, the Gym, WW, other attempts...bleh! I'm hoping for the best....these next few weeks will be the determining factor I guess!

has anyone gotten out of this by your MD writing a letter to the insurance company....basically stating that you've been under his/her care for years... Thanks for your input!

Woot! I'm getting a salad or two a day in...sometimes just one and then a lean cuisine...with a few Snacks through the day. My calorie level is good...I just need an extra push! With my salads...I use the spritzer spray that's 1 calorie per spray...or just have a little low fat cottage cheese and no dressing on the salad. Seems to be working...I think! I'm going to try the low carb slimfast and see how that works! Thanks!! I just don't want them to be like....how the hell did you lose 18 pounds in such a short time...ya know? Tho....if I don't make a change, that weight will come back in no time!

Well...I'm switching hospitals. I'm now going here in Merrillville to Broadway Methodist....I think it'll be better. I'm working on losing 12 more pounds before my insurance will even LOOK at my case. So...after i lose the last 12 pounds, the chick will start rolling with my paperwork! *fingers crossed* Woot...Traci, I'm so happy for you chick!!

In order for the NEW place to forward my paperwork...my insurance company requires a BMI below 50...and I belive I'm almost at 51. My stats that I gave were 330 pounds and 5'7" tall.... Apparently I need to have my weight down to 312 to be qualified under my insurance plan... Soooo...does anyone have a "quick" fix weight loss program that worked for them? I've just been eating about 700-900 calories a day and working out EVERY day...sometimes twice a day. Since I found this out (Last Friday) I've lost 6 lbs....Not doing too bad...but I'm dreading the last 12 pounds! I'm sort of losing faith....Any help would be great!! Thanks!

Well I finally got a chance to call them...and apparently the lady said that there was nothing on file for me...nothing was scanned in. I'm SOOOO furious right now, I can barely type! I'm not sure what to do now...I've been trying to get a hold of the chick in charge of the insurance at the surgeon's office...but she's not returned my call! FIGURES!!!!!

Woot....I shall call them Monday!!

Woot! I'm in the same boat...the waiting period sucks! I'm going to actually call my insurance company tomorrow to make sure they got it, and maybe find out what the status is!

did you contact the Insurance company yourself at all? Or did you just sit and wait to hear back from your surgeons office?

I'm stickin' with DayOne...I've got a lady friend who had her surgery done there and she's been doing excellent! My insurance was submitted, now I just wait for the approval! Woot!!

I'm currently going through DayOne Health...I've not had any problems, only with the insurance lady. She seems awfully busy...or incompetent, I haven't decided which yet! Best of luck at the new place!
