Anthem BCBS

This is my wonderful insurance company! I was wondering if any of you have this same carrier, and what kind of "hoops" they made you jump through? I'm pretty sure I have all the paperwork they are requiring...but I'm sure there will be SOMETHING I don't have...and will have to continue jumping through these "hoops!" The insurance chick at my surgeon's office is supposed to be opening my case today and submitting it! Woot, I can only pray and hope it goes smoothly!

My insurance approves the surgery...it's just a matter of them thinkin' whether or not I'm a valid candidate!

I have anthem too. All anthem policies aren't the same. But for me, I've jumped through the predetermined hoops and am now awaiting approval! My file and request has been sent to them and I'm 'patiently' waitng!! haha...according to my surgeon's office, Anthem is one of the easier companies to get approval from. We shall see :)

I have Anthem BC/BS in Nevada. Jumped through the hoops and had approval within one working day of submittal!

I had Anthem BC/BS and they just wanted to much from me as far as 6 months supervised diet, testing, time comsumption and I was just too impatient and went to Mexico and self paid.
