  1. I have my period and I have diahhrhea. That is normal for me. But this time my stomach hurts so bad and I have horrible heartburn. I've tried sitting and laying in different positions. I tried sitting in the bathroom with the steam. I took a shower. It may go away for a little but then comes back. I was sleeved 4-24-12. I also had some of Wendy's chili yesterday- could that be the culprit? Any ideas?

  3. So I've tried caltrate chewables and caltrate gummies. I've also tried the caltrate chocolate chews. I can't stand them. Any suggestions?
  4. So I'm down about 47 pounds (stalling now but think its because I have my period). I was sleeved 4-24-12 so I'm almost a month So nsv's. Maybe tmi but I have a much easier time cleaning myself in the bathroom... If you know what I mean. My "hump" in the middle of my back is disappearing. I can easily put on shoes. I can walk without getting out I breath Normally after a family get together I woul only be able to help with the clean up for so long until my back was killing me but today I was able to really help! And I was able to drink and eat some normal food (very small portions) so I didn't feel Left out or look strange... No one here today saw anything strange... Which is good because I'm not ready to tell them. My stomach doesn't touch the steering wheel My shorts that were always too tight are now too loose!
  5. So I started eating real food... Fruit cooked veggies chicken cheese and turkey on Monday. I've gained five pounds... Does this sound right? I also think that I may have been dehydrated And now I've got my fluids back?
  6. Like does this sound right? For Breakfast at 10 I had 3 oz of yogurt. At 11:30 I had 3 oz of sliced turkey breast At 1 I had a string cheese At 1:30 I had 3 oz of fruit And I've been drinking Water all day. I feel Hungry. Not crazy hungry but hungry enough to eat some more fruit.
  7. Ok. I'm not sure of the size of my stomach. I had my sirgery 4-24 and I can easily eat three ounces of sliced deli turkey and still be hungry.
  8. How do I get myself not to eat them in the first place? I feel I am really struggling with limiting what I eat...
  9. Ok so there they were... Staring me down from the coffee table... Begging me to eat them.... I gave in and ate about 6 pretzels... Then I felt instantly nauseous... Bad decision. Im not supposed to eat them cuz they are not good for me and now I know they'll make me sick Anyone able to eat pretzels? Will we ever be ok to eat them?
  10. I've heard really good things about Wendy's chili! I'm going to have to try it soon!
  11. You will be fine! I was very nervous before my surgery and also thought gee maybe I'll just not go. But this is not going to be any other diet. It's going to change your life. You somply won't be able to eat what you did before... I messed up and had some potatoe chips recently and I really regretted it(bad acid reflux for the day) so I learned my lesson with that. I've also ate too much once and just had a very uncomfortable feeling for the rest of the day. So Am learning to eat slowly now and really try to listen to my body... I was sleeved on 4-24-12 and I'm down 47 pounds!
  12. Are rice crackers good or bad?
  13. I haven't gotten sick but am experiment a lot of acid reflux due to it. Won't be doing that again.
  14. Do you think I'll get sick?
  15. Yeah. But I mean am I going to get sick from It?
  16. I had my sleeve 4-24-12 and I have been doing well with not eating foods I'm not supposed to... Then the potato chip monster attacked and forced me to eat 10 chips. What's gonna happen? I kind of already don't feel too good... But I'm not sure if that is how my stomach feels or if my mind is just playing a mean game on me. Any ideas?
  17. I was sleeved 4-24-12 an I'm down 42 pounds. Started at 370 and now I'm 328. Not bad! But I know I'm not getting enough Protein in. My nut said I can have some soft foods now. So what am I really eating? Lots of string cheese. Some grapes. Some cheddar cheese. Gummy Vitamins. Lots of Water. Cooked broccoli. Some egg whites.
  18. I had my surgery 4-24-12. Since then I did the week of clear liquids. Then last Monday I was told to start my protein shakes (3a day). That didnt work too well... Made me very nauseous. So I haven't really been drinking them. In addition my vitamins make me instantly nauseous so I haven't been so good with those. I am currently trying to find other options. My nut said I can hav some egg whites, cooked veggies, applesauce and some cheese. But the main reason I'm writing is because I feel scared and have some anxiety.... Am I ever going to feel "normal" again and not be afraid to eat food and get enough nutrients in I guess I'm looking for someone who is a few months out that went through a stage of doubt and fear after surgery... How long did that last? How do you feel now? Thank you
  19. What are the vitamins you have found? Mine make me nauseous now
  20. How long did it take until you felt better?
