  1. I want in!!! My first challenge!!! I'm three weeks post op. I weigh 250 now, I want to weigh 225 by labor day. Also, continue to track food on my fitness pal, and continue to work out 4-5 weekly. Hope I can do it!!!
  2. I've been smoke free since May 14. I also had to stop smoking prior to surgery. I used the nicotine patch and suckers to help. I've been off the patch since my surgery, just would forget to put them on, and I'm doing good. I'm surprised with myself. I feel so much better, especially when I'm exercising. Again, i must say,I'm really surprised about my progress. I LOVED smoking. I'm 34 and been smoking since I was 16. Never thought I'd be in the place i am now with smoking.
  3. Hot dog!!! Got my fitbit in today!!! Can't wait to start using it tomorrow. Does anyone else have the scale that syncs to it? After my surgery two weeks ago, I bought a new scale. I regret that now. I would've loved to have the scale that "goes with" my fitbit. Fitbit name is Wolfgirl78 if anyone wants to be friends.
  4. Well the Tuna agreed with me! Yay!!!!!! Now, I could only take about 4 bites of what's in that cup, mind you. At this time, it looks like that cup will last for many meals, lol I've been able to eat eggs, oatmeal, and bake potato so far, but not much. Still getting majority of my Protein through shakes.
  5. I'm psyched out its tuna fish and cracker day!!! I don't ever remember being this psyched about tuna fish before...guess that what happens when you lived on liquids for so long. Yesterday I had oatmeal and a little bit of bake potato. That went well...now hopefully this does! Meanwhile my family feast on Popeyes fried chicken
  6. Pre-sleeve I used to hardly ever weigh myself. 2 weeks in after sleeve, I weigh myself everyday. It has become an obsession. I'm hoping it tapers off
  7. I ordered mine this weekend. Should be here tomorrow!! Squee!
  8. I attached a list of eating progression list ( hopefully its attached, lol) my surgeon wants us to go by. Scrambled eggs sit good with me. I'm gonna try some oatmeal later today. Beans made me sick.
  9. You look great! One of my goals is to be able to wear a bikini and look good in it.
  10. Hi! Welcome! I was sleeved 2 weeks ago today. I'm glad to hear your doing so well! I'm also bored at home, I'm spending way too much money because of it, lol. I go back to work Monday.
  11. I was also sleeved on the 12th, I'm down 23 lbs post op.
  12. I was self pay, with Dr Chung in Lake Charles, Louisiana. It cost me $14,000
  13. I'm hoping I'll be able still enjoy the tiniest bit of steak one day too. I've heard so many people on here cannot tolerate beef anymore.
  14. I stayed one night in hospital, went home the next day
  15. I also did the same thing pre-surgery.. Read all the stories about the leaks, PE's, clots etc. I scared myself silly. In the end, I just kept telling myself that the odds are low for complications. I made sure I followed Drs pre op instructions and am now following the post op instructions. Don't let the bad stuff freak you out, there are plenty more good stories
  16. Welcome! I was also sleeved on 06/12.
  17. Went for my first appointment after surgery ( my sleeve was on 6/12). According to their scales I've lost 14lbs since surgery, according to my scales 17lbs lost I also had my drained removed, that felt weird!!! I'm feeling pretty good but I get tired easy. I'm getting about 45-50 oz of fluid in, mostly water. I'm not even sure about the amount of protein I'm getting, I'm not keeping track. I hope everyone is doing ok!!!
