  1. This AM I am 244, last week was 248
  2. Wolfgirl1978 posted a topic in The Gals' Room
I'm having a lot of trouble keeping my emotions under control, and also my temper is real short ever since VSG (I'm 33 days post op). Im crying at the drop of a hat, having irrational fears, and also getting angry and snapping real quick. I'm always apologizing for my actions lately, especially to my husband. I feel so out of control emotionally lately. Anyone else going through this or has gone through this? Will it ever end? I hate feeling like this.
  3. I had mine for six days after surgery. I was supposed to drink purple Kool-aid periodically throughout the day, if I saw purple I was to immediately contact my Dr's office.
  4. Mine had that oily layer on it too, nasty, but ok
  5. I love mine too, glad to know they have good customer service.
  6. You'll do great! Sending prayers your way!
  7. Also sleeved on June 12th, down 29lbs
  8. Some times to get things you've never had before, you have to do things you've never done before. I was scared too, not that I'd miss food, because my relationship with food had to change, but about death and complications. After joining this forum, I decided that the benefits outweighed those risk. Im tired of being fat, and unhealthy. I'm 4weekss out, 29lbs down, I quit smoking for this surgery, and I feel solo much better already. My body feels good and my mind is not as dark and dank as it was pre surgery. I feel alive, ands it's only been a month. The beginning is not easy, no one is saying that, but it does get better. You got to decide what's the end result worth to you
  9. You think I'll be able to buy out of season clothes on November? That's what's perplexing me.
  10. So, my husband and I have a cruise booked for November. I'm kind of concerned about finding summer clothes that will fit me come November, as I will be 5 months post op at that point and assume none of my current summer clothes will fit well then. Any suggestions about this?
  11. Welcome Aaron!!!! You'll be happy with your sleeve
  12. Eating food is a chore now. I still get what I need from protein drinks, with small bits of food here and there during the day. I'm not really hungry.
  13. We are sleeve twins! I'm down 28
  14. I took my pain pills and slept when I was 3days out. Seriously though...you are moving too fast on your food progression. How does your surgeon want you to progress on your food? You should be following that advice. What I was told was the object was to put the least amount of pressure on suture line in stomache, cause otherwise could cause leaks or other complications. I've attached my food progression list I had to follow.
  15. I did the same thing before my surgery
  16. No, but they look pretty.
