  5. Try adding a small amount of sugar-free pudding mix to your shakes. Made a big difference in taste to me! And it gives you a variety.
  6. Wow...that's amazing. I was on liquids for 2 weeks after, then soft, mushy foods for almost 2 weeks, then gradually reg diet.
  7. Put ice in a blender, then your liquids & protein powder... Nice & thick like a Wendy's Frosty only better for you! Also try adding sugar free pudding mix (only a little) it will give you more flavor.

  10. Did you eat to much? I heard that can happen. Although I have never experienced it myself...
  11. Atkins Protein Bars & Health Wise are sooo good. I buy the Health Wise at my surgeons office ( Chocolate Caramel Crunch). Atkins Chocolate Chip Granola & Peanut Butter Granola bars are great...
  12. You are doing great & it shows!
  13. 6 months out & down 80 lbs. Dr wants me @ 150, I would like 140. So I only have 20 - 30 lbs left to goal...
  14. Atkins Bars. I only eat the ones with 10 grams of protein or more for a meal replacement.Peanut butter granola is my favorite! The do have some that are great if you just want a snack too... Also, Health Wise has a Caramel Crunch Bar that tastes just like a candy bar & has 15gms of protein.
  15. Yes you can... If you click on a picture you upload, over to the right is an image modification . Click on that & you can edit or delete pic.
  16. I use Centrum Silver (as I'm over 50) Chewables 2 a day~ Citrus Berry flavor They taste pretty good to me. I also use Citratcal Citrate + D in petite size 2 a day. Bariatric Iron chewy bites (Chocolate raspberry) those taste like a tootsie roll to me, so it's like candy once a day. And 2 times a week I use B-12 liquid sublingual. I started taking Biotin for hair loss (as a precaution).
  17. We had ground turkey tacos for Cinco de Mayo...
  18. Drink & walk, drink & walk... takes your mind off of food. I also eat a protein bar when I get munchie!
  19. Way to go... Isn't that a great feeling??? Keep up the good work!
  20. My surgeon was surprised that eggs bothered me, as they are one of the first "actual" foods we are allowed. After 6 months I can now eat scrambled eggs, I just don't eat much of them.
  21. Feels more like someone punched you right in the very top of your stomach. I get the burps when I eat to much also. I walk around until the feeling passes! Walking helps soooo much.
  22. Doreykn replied to allmee's topic in The Lounge
Laying down for me, makes me want to vomit... Walking is much better.
  23. I'm going to ask my Dr. when I go on the 8th for a card.
  24. I told close family & friends before my surgery. Then as the weight came off, I started a transformation album on my Facebook so everyone could see!
