    My surgery went so good, I almost felt guilty. I was nauseous for about a day and a half, then never again. I was walking a mile then two within a couple days of surgery. If I overdid it, then I took a pain pill and a nap. But pain pill usage was very minimal. Don't hurry through your food stages and enjoy the ride. I'm 8 weeks post op and have lost almost half of my excess weight!

    My first goal is to join a gym (will do on June 1).
    Next goal - When I get into the 160's I'm getting a pedicure.
    Final goal - After I reach goal I'd like a face and breast lift!

    ForMyFamily - I'm the same way. I used to say I was a water-aholic. All post-op results are different for people, but for me it actually changed the way that Water TASTES. Seriously. It's like it leave an aftertaste and it doesn't matter if it is tap, filtered, purchased, etc. Water tastes funny so I don't reach for it like I used to. I'm now one of those people that has to remind myself to drink water. Also the sheer quantity. I was such water guzzler. I could just tip up a bottle and down 16-20ounces. Now I have to sip and I hate it. It's the only think that causes me pain (very short-lived).
    I really don't think it's like this for everyone - this is just my experience and probably the only thing I really miss

    HOLY CRAP! I had a great week this week...down 5 pounds! So that leaves me 4 pounds to my challenge goal weight and if I can push it one more pound beyond that I will finally be in twonderland!! OMG, that would totally make my day!

    Down 1.9 this week! Yay! Im 3.8 pounds from my goal and only a week to do it in.. but I am going to try really hard! Maybe I will at least get close! If I can get to 145 (3 more pounds) I will have a normal BMI! I am so close to normal I can taste it!!!! Its the last week! Come on girls, lets give it our all!!!!!

    Nancy, Working out IS fun!! Even when I'm sweating and feeling like I'm gonna die, I make myself think about things like how good my arms and thighs (and butt) are looking and how much better they are GOING to look once I've done a few more workouts! THAT is motivating to me!!!

    I have one of the most restrictive and slowest phase growing plans of, I think, about anyone I've come across on this forum....
    I'm at 8 weeks post (OK on TUESDAY I will be), but FINALLY get to add in fish, eggs, cheese and Beans. Oh Good Lord it's been a haul.
    I had salmon (all of about 1/4 cup) and it was wonderful!! Also had some chili. YUMMM!
    I know a lot of others have been eating this stuff since like week 2, but I vowed to follow my surgeon's orders and I made it! To be honest I think it helped to break a lot of my head hunger in the past 2 months....Hmmmm...maybe that's the method to their madness.
    Anyway, just wanted to share that I made it!!

    nanny, My Fitness Pal is an app for your phone where you can track your food and exercise each day to help you know whether you're reaching your daily goals. You can customize the calorie and Protein goals for yourself and it will give you reports that will help you refine your eating and exercise habits. I use it in conjunction with my Fit Bit and it has helped me break my last stall and reach the Century Club. Hopefully, it will help me get to goal quickly from here.

    My surgeon and plan seem to be one of the most restrictive I've come across on the forum. I'm a little over 7 weeks out and I'll be able to add eggs, cheese, fish and Beans NEXT week. I've been tempted to cheat since a lot of people here talk about their plans including these soft foods at like 2 weeks. But, I'm a chicken to cheat. I chose my surgeon and pledged to do whatever they said. Good luck.
