  3. I think check with your doctor again, did your doctor not give u any rules to follow for eating, like how many weeks liquids how many weeks pure .. ?
  4. Great advice from Mis and Cazzy, u shouldnt be too tight otherwise i too aso read it can cause many other problems.
  5. Sounds like u are doing good, i know lipo can cause loose skin or skin with wrinkles i have seen, might be worth see a lipo expert and a plastic surgeon to discuss your options.
  6. I still hide from camera's i hate the darn things, and even worse 'video's' and i know the anxiety wil kick in when i start exercising too. I think i am gonna get a heart attack from stress & worry about it all. I dislike feeling like that too.

  8. the band stands a chance of changing the way you eat for life, it will help keep the weight off. Optifast will just help lose the weight , and then nothing, i know my choice, i dont want to put wieght back on once iose it.

  12. This is what my surgeon told me too, that some of the tales of disaster over the band are due to poor maintenance by the owner, theylike to be too tight and be sick all the time then complain when something goes wrong ..
  13. I think getting all the fills covered in your self pay costs up front is an excellent idea ...
  14. You might get lucky and just do a small amount of exercise and it could fall off of you

  16. Having read this forum i know some feel restriction straight away postop but it would seem the majority dont and only after a few fills so u have to hang on in there till u get the restriction.
  17. I agree with Cazzy this is a medical procedure, personally anay friends that cant support me in my quest to be healthy arent really my friends. good luck to you all.

A true friend would support you whatever you decide , if u medically didnt need the operation u wouldnt be able to get it unless u were self pay, would your friend tell u not to take pills for an ailment/illness, personally i cant see any difference, maybe u need to get a new friend along with your new healthy life ..

  20. I would think that waitng till your colds clered up then re-assessing how u are might be best, u dont want to get unfilled unecessarily.

  23. We all get scared at some point during this process, once its all over then, from what ive read on here, people then get scared band will slip, or they wont lose weight etc etc, seems like we find things to worry about a lot !
  24. eating before u go out sounds a good idea to me, even for people who are just dieting, controlling your portion sizes is key to losing weight so to not be hungry and facee tempting food would be very helpful .. to me anyways .
