  3. My goal is to start and complete the Insanity workout! With my crazy schedule getting to the gym is hard but I can always push play!!! If anyone else is doing insanity let me know I need an accountability partner!!
  4. I would love to be your banded buddy! Friend me!
  5. I was banded on June 27th I had shoulder pain the first 2 weeks post op but I haven't had it since. However, I have had the port pain and some tightness if I eat too much or too fast! Does help with gauging how much I eat... Best of luck to you all!

  8. I am glad that you are having some steady progress now! How did you know that you had a bolus? I think I might have something but I can't tell. Did you have any symptoms? Sorry for all the questions.

  12. No Fear! I was Banded June 27th and I was nervous at first but everything went by so fast! I had surgery at 7:30 that morning and was home by 3pm the same day and that's with hour and a half travel time from the hospital! I was sore but the thing that hurt me the most was my throat from the tube that was used during the procedure. I slept a lot! I am now on week 4 and I am doing quite well! Don't worry all will be find and Congrats to you all for making a major change to better health!
  13. Congrats to you both! Best of luck on your journey!
  14. That is totally awesome! I get my first fill on July 31st and I too am down 22 pounds since preop-diet and post op surgery. I am really excited and glad to know that it was not painful! I think that has been my biggest concern about all of this, whether or not I can tolerate the fills! Well I will know in another week. Best of luck to you!

  16. Hello all, My name is LaNetra but I will go by BandedSweety96 here in our world! I am from Texas, born and raised! I am looking for any Texas bandits and would love to start a Texas based community. I am now 18 days post op! I am finally starting to feel like my old self again! I am waking up with little to NO back pain! I cam walk my mile Briskly, with basically no knee pain. At first, the first couple of weeks I was thinking I had made a mistake with having the surgery but now that I am slowly starting to eat normal food again and I am able to determine how much protein and water my body needs I am starting to get a balance. I still have some tenderness around my port and when I drink cold water I get a tight pain near my stomach area. But I am learning...and the journey so far has been fun! I am down 1 dress size in the first month and I haven't had a fill yet! I want to take it slow so that I can tone and keep everything tight! Best of Luck to you all! God Bless
  17. I had the same response yesterday when I tried to eat scrambled eggs. I had a very sore tight feeling around my band. This just lets me know that scrambled eggs are no longer my friends...I will have to find another way to eat them that I can tolerate and like. Best of luck to you!
  18. Do what you feel is best! Remember that your health may depend on this one procedure...Do your research and you will know if it is the right thing for you...
  19. I was very nervous when I went into surgery but it was more about just having a surgery....Those people that have the band and it didn't work its because they wanted a quick fix or probably thought that it would work over night! The band is a TOOL not a Cure! You have to follow the guidelines and be ready to work toward your weightloss!!! Remember that the surgery is to help with the eating part you have to do the work to get the weight off! Best of luck!
  20. I hope you get to feeling better soon! I do understand the over sleeping and lack of energy just make sure you keep your proteins up and stay on you liquids! Hydration is Key! Best of luck to you and know you always have people to talk to here! God Bless!
  21. Congrats! I am 10 days post op and I know how you feel...But it will take time and stay on your plan and exercise... Remember the band is a tool not a cure. You will do great!
