  3. Insurance is just being slow on paperwork. This hospital is a satellite from Tufts in Boston and is new at bariatric surgery. But if other insurers are ok, not sure why bc/bs had to be dragging their feet.

  7. Hoping to be a November girl. All pre op is done. Was scheduled for 10/30 and insurance postponed. : ( So having a pitty party. Anyone else had this diappointment??

  9. I haven't had the surgery yet. But are you saying when it goes in, it is just on and your stomach isn't the pouch yet? Then later, when you get a fill, it becomes the small pouch?
  10. First time using a forum. Don't know anyone personally that has the band of gold. Should be banded by December, postponed from 10/30 due to insurance and hospital certification. Just want to learn the ropes from your wisdom. Thanks from New England.

  14. Marshawn12, So happy for you. I am in a holding pattern, insurance is messing with the hospital. I was scheduled for 10/30, but now ladt November seems more likely.

  17. I'm new. My date is Oct. 30th but insurance is giving hospital redtape. Hopefully the date won't change.
