Im new to this forum and have had a chance to check out quite a bit of the discussion. I find this forum to be very informative. I have not yet been banded but am scheduled for my consultation on 8/1. I am 5'1", 250lbs and frustrated with my weight. I am ready to take charge of my health. I look forward to forging great online relationships in this forum and I welcome any advice that will be given.

Welcome. I am fairly new myself. You're right, there is a lot of great info and support here. I am always learning something new. Read as much as you can and take what you need from it. Dn't be afraid to ask or offer info. Good luck.
