  7. Hey everybody!... I was sleeved 12/3/12 HW:257, DS:253, Current:228 I have been hitting the gym and exercising alot lately... I cant believe it. Although the lbs lost isnt as much as I thought it'd be at this point, Im still overjoyed. I am heading in the right direction. I am able to eat just about anything I want now, but pretty much stick to the same things. I wish you all great continued success!
  8. Thanks.... I am 5 weeks out today and I'm looking for some other supplements besides the protein rtd shakes ive been drinking (really tired of them right now). Ive been doing really good with getting at least 60/64grams of protein in a day for the past 2-3 weeks. I want to try some protein bars, but dont want to get the wrong ones. I know that some have lots of carbs.
  9. Hi All, For those who have been sleeved for awhile, how soon did you start eating Protein bars and which Protein Bars are the best for bariatric patients? Please advise. Thanks!
  10. Great!!! U give me hope!! Keep up the good work and thanks so much for sharing...
  11. How long did it take u to reach goal?
  12. What was your highest weight Sleeve of Steel, if I may ask?
  13. Hey yall! Sleeved 12/3 and went for my 2wk post op appt today and I am down 18lbs since before surgery and 14lbs since date of surgery. This is soooo cool! Ive been cleared to work out (but cant overdo it) and I cant wait to do so!
  14. Ok.. I was sleeved on 12/3 and have felt pretty good and Im glad about it. The first week was definitely challenging with getting in liquids and Protein and I know I failed, but thats to be expected (i think). Week 2 was alot better. I was able to get in most of my 64 oz of Fluid and a good amount of my 64 g of protein. I am currently on full liquids and today I had: 11oz Protein Drink (30g) 16.9 oz Propel Zero About 4oz of creamy chicken Soup 8.5 oz Propel Zero About 4oz of creamy tomato soup 11oz Protein shake (30g) 16.9 oz propel Zero Am I on the right track? I just need a little reassurance. Thanks!!
  15. Hey.. I was sleeved last week too (12/3), and today is my first day getting in all my protein and liquids. I cant really stomach the plain water so ive been doing vitamin water zero. Today i had 2 protein drinks (60g/22oz), 2 vitamin waters (40oz), and I had about 4oz of cream of chicken soup and 4oz of cream of tomato.. Im so proud of myself today!! Youre doing well.... Just try harder everyday. We can do this!!! And btw, Im feeling reeeaaallly good!
  16. Ok... I am one week post op and my ankles are the smallest I have ever seen! .....just thought Id share. ????

  18. Im feeling sooooo much better! Thanks for your prayers. Im still trying to get in my fluids and Protein, but Im definitely able to eat (drink) better than before. The hardest thing for me is the water! And i wish i had more liquid choices, but im thankful anyway! I checked the scale this morning and I believe that i am down 14 lbs already.... That just blows my mind!!! Thanks again for your thoughts and prayers.
