  2. I'm 6 months post op my vsg and I feel great!! Starting weight 240 and I'm currently 185, 55 pounds gone. But I'm sad that this is it.....I would love to lose another 30 pounds but I'd be happy with another 20. I'm only 5'1 so I easily have the extra pounds to lose. Any ways to get things jump started again?? Ill take any tips!
  3. I was sleeved on 1/22....I started at 240, day of surgery 228....and today I'm 197:). 43 total
  4. I've been going since 3 weeks post op, I'm 6 weeks post op now. I love it!
  5. Tracey I already had surgery. I'm down 35 pounds. Just looking how to utilize this time as best as possible. I was sleeved 1/22.
  6. If you could go back....what would you do differently? I'm always seeing people talk about this honeymoon period right after surgery and taking advantage of the beginning. So here I am, 5 weeks and 5 days post op, wondering how to make the very best of this time. Share your thoughts
  7. Congrats! That's amazing! You have really utilized the honeymoon phase, being just 4 weeks post op your pushing me to do even more!
  8. I'm a nursing supervisor so I'm moving around a lot! I try to carry water or crystal lite with me at all times.v I was very open about my surgery with coworkers so they understand the importance of me having fluids all the time. I also make sure that if I'm at my desk or on break I'm taking very frequent sips.
  9. Soooo I was looking at nutrition labels last night and realized I'm consuming a lot of sodium....no wonder I'm in a stall!! Ill be preparing everything on my own now.....can't even trust lean deli meat!
  10. Tomorrow will be 3 weeks that I've been the same weight. Starting weight was 240 Day of surgery was 228 sleeved 1/22 Today 208........yes I'm down 32 pounds but not a single one in 3 weeks. Stalls happen and I just added Zumba to my regimen, increased my fluids, and increased my Proteins. I'm also starting to monitor my sodium more....hoping doing all that will help!

  13. I'm 4 weeks post op....I can only eat very little ( one hard boiled egg, 2 oz. of lean meat,1/2 cup chili) however I find I'm able to drink a lot more. Thankfully , because I need to et more fluids in. In the beginning it was hard to even take a few sips.
  14. Thanks for the help everyone! I'm going to add a protein shake, and fluids. I'm starting Zumba again Saturday and that is going to eat up all my calories! Eating more is not really an option right now, I'm lucky I can finish the food I do. I couldn't even finish a one egg omelette this morning....
  15. Alright....day 13 at the same weight and I'm 22 days post op! How do we break these stalls??? I'm currently having in a day: 8 ounces of decaf tea 1 egg 1 string cheese 1/3 cup fat free refried Beans 8 ounces of skim milk in carnation shake 20 ounces about of clear fluids I already know that I need more fluids, this is soooo hard when I'm full so fast. Any tricks getting more fluids in? Or desirable fluids?
