  4. I havnt been sleeved yet, but ive read that chia seeds help tremendously.
  5. Also, find a support group in your area. They may be helpful to you as well.
  6. You should do all the research you can and base your decision on whats BEST for you. Only you know you! This forum is a great resource. You should consult with a surgeon and ask as many questions as you have. Ultimately, you should make this decision for you. Dont think about letting your family down, consider yourself above all. In the end, to be most beneficial ro your family you have to take care of you! Best wishes to you and I hope your decision comes easier.

  9. I totally understand what youre saying....I was just having this convo with a friend. I havent had surgery yet, but when I do I dont want to lose my curves either. I want to be healthy and comfortable in my skin. Best wishes to you!

  11. Omg!...ur story is so similar to mine!.... I am sooooo here with u on getting healthier. I too am in Jersey and am on my way to being sleeved soon. Like you, the most Ive lost ever was 30 lbs, just to regain it later. Im so happy to come across a story so similar to mine. I wish u much success!   13. Hey yall! I had my consult today and already have an anticipated surgery date. This seems so surreal. I have my consult w/the nutritionist on next week and need to schedule my psych consult, etc.... Im nervous but excited. Good be with you ladies and I cant wait to share this journey with you all...

  16. Hi All. I am scheduled for my first consultation on 8/1 and I am torn btwn the LapBand and the sleeve. At the seminar, I was convinced that the band will be my choice, but since doing research I have changed my mind. What advice do you all have? I appreciate any help ypu can give. I am sooo ready to be healthy and take charge of my weight. I understand taAt surgery is NOT a quick fix, but a tool and I am soooo ready to learn how to use the tool to my advantage. Thanks in advance!
