  6. Do what ever you have to do to do it, FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT, don't let the insurance company win, I had to fight mine for 12 months than my companies CEO and HR pushed it through for me.
  7. Thanks everyone, I love my new weigh of life  I will post a new pic soon, just have to dig out some old clothes that will fit now, all my everyday things are falling off and I need new underwear(TMI)

  9. I am 2 months out and got the lucky sliming ordeal, I get the hurt feeling sometimes in my chest too, it feels like it won't go down or come back up, this is followed by uncontrollable clear mucus coming out. My Dr said it is normal in some people. Lucky me???
  10. I was in a stall at week 5(actually gained 4oz, than dropped 12 lbs in the following week and 8lbs this weekend. down 74lbs 2 months post op

  14. Believe it or not I get uti's also, my dr said not to crush the cipro
  15. Awesome, before you know it you will be home recovering
  16. It's caffeine that has to go unfortunetly, it is a stimulant(which makes you want to eat)and an irritant which will hurt your sleeve. We switched to Dunkin Donuts decaf brewed strong and it is pretty good. I work midnights and believe me it can be done and my dr is ok with me having decaf.
  17. I am sure you know it but the carbs are a no-no, have to stay under 20 per day
  18. I had the same issue and still get it sometimes if I eat or drink to fast, mine is followed by sliming which makes it hurt more. We went away this weekend and it was rough but I know it will pass. Believe me it gets better in a few weeks. 50 lbs down 1 month out
  19. You are doing fine, I am down 42 lbs 3 weeks post-op which is probably normal for starting out, maybe it will slow done soon? And my clothes are getting baggy now but hate to buy new stuff right away....
  20. Congrats on the best thing you can do for yourself
  21. I tried many and found UNJURY to be really good, the chocolate classic is just like chocolate milk no gritty after taste.
  22. Don't give up, UHC is horrible to deal with. It took me a year to get mine done. If you are all cleared to surgery have your Dr office get in touch with the hospital CFO and make payment arrangements.

You are doing GREAT, keep up(or is that down?) the good work. I am 1 week post op today and feel great, 590lbs 1 year ago to 552lbs 1 week pre-op to 536 this morning I am so excited
  24. I hate to get all technical and such but harrassment is not tolerated in any work place(on or off the clock), tell them you are on a path to self improvement and either support you or leave you be. My boss and HR dept were very helpful with this step of my journey, Yes a few people quit talking to me but I gained much more respect from everyone else
