Well I have an appointment in an hour with my dr to get this awful drain out. I just don't want to sound like a weirdo when I tell him that I still have moments of really bad pain. We will see.

Were any of you still needing something for pain after a week post surgery?

Girl I was so mean I said things to my fiancé that were terrible!!! Terrible is an big understatement. Just explain to everyone around you that you are not yourself right now. It will be fine.

I'm sorry but this Jp drain is coming out tomorrow and I couldn't be happier!!!!!! It is so tender and I can't move an inch without it hurting! Can somebody tell me what to expect when the drain come out? Does it hurt worse than it already does?

The weird thing is that I didn't start getting gas pains until day 6 post op. is that normal? I didn't sleep at all last night because i am just so uncomfortable and its very painful. I am going to try something today. Thanks for everybody's input !

I am only 1 week post op .

That is what my dr has been telling me to take. He as to take 3 Advil liquid gels every 6 hours as needed.

There are many things I am looking forward to doing once my weight starts coming off but one thing u just can NOT wait to do is wear my beautiful engagement ring. I wouldn't let my fiancé get it sized anymore because we knew I would be losing weight soon. Share what you are most excited about !!!

I am one week post op and still have really bad gas pains. They are killing my back and its difficult to walk with. I am soo uncomfortable right now! It also feels like i need to pop my back or arch back to stretch my stomach muscles but I cant do that either! When will the discomfort go away? I read where some people are feeling 100% and I don't.

I go back to work Thursday and I'm curious how I will hold up also! I am a week post op now. I tried going to Walmart Saturday and I didn't do very well. I had to find a bench and fast ! I have a desk job so hopefully it will be fine.

I just want to sleep on my tummy! How long before I can do that?

I just feel like my head weighs 500 pounds

It's not too bad but it's enough to make me feel really lousy and enough to make me take meds. I was given the gel and it's kind of expensive so I am just wondering what to plan for. Today I am 6 days post op and I don't know if I have nausea or what.., I feel just lousy! Did you have up and down days at first ?

Didn't feel nausea until 5 days post op. How long does this normally last?

I shouldn't have done it! I am getting stir crazy so my mother drove me to Walmart this morning. I became so weak and lightheaded I had to find a bench!! This is 5 days post op for me. Is this normal???

I tried pudding this morning and it satisfying to me. Are you guys doing the protein shakes or are you doing powder or the shots?

I was sleeved on may first and aside from soreness, I feel great! The drain is bothering me but I really feel good !!!

Was sleeved 2 days ago and I'm wondering when will the soreness go away? I haven't had any nausea at all, lots of gas pains. I know everybody is different but any advice would be great!
