  1. I'm three months post op- and I am WAY tired at night and fall asleep almost instantly- after I recovered and started working out even more so. (I walk morning and night) I sleep so well now- and I never have to get up and use the bathroom anymore during the night! I love that. I don't eat sugar at all and no/super low carbs- and I think that helps me also. I thought I'd need sleeping pills, but never have. I'm thankful for that.
  2. That's cool Some do - do some don't I know for my body I need to- I'm down 72 lbs since my surgery May 15 so I just gotta keep watching my numbers
  3. Those have 31 carbs- more than I eat sometimes in two days! be careful with those hidden numbers!
  4. Four huge man sized burps after every meal- not that kinda girl usually but the surgery has done it to me! I'm 3 months out- and it is NOT letting up anytime soon
  5. Weight before pre op diet 254. Lost 4 measly lbs on preop 12 weeks out today- 184. 70 lb loss so far. Congrats everyone!

  7. I eat only a third of a medium to small banana about three times a week. Could it be the amount you are eating? I love it with low fat no sugar peanut butter - yum

  9. Measure everything! And if you have a smart phone- download myfitnesspal and use it faithfully. It really does help a lot! And lastly if you are losing- then you're probably right on track!

  11. Over easy or fried in water and cover with a lid has worked so well for me. I can even add a little cheese now my favorite breakfast!
  12. I wouldn't and haven't touched it since way pre op! Along with rice, cereal, pasta, ANY kind of baked floury thing. I read over and over it slows weight loss- and it's not safe for ME to have those things at all. I have lost 65 lbs- all post op since May 15. Lost 4 lbs pre op- so a total of 69 lbs. I think the no refined carb thing works best for me

  15. May 15 surgery- 250 day of surgery- today 187. Was a size 24 day of surgery- yeaterday- bought my first pair of 12s ever! 63 lbs lost since surgery- 67 since 3 day preop diet! Walk twice a day- no sugar- no unnatural carbs- no fast food- no cheating- no drugs- no alcohol- just hard work and it's paying off!!!!

  17. I had mine out with my sleeve- the only surgery I want after my sleeve is my tummy and boobs- that's it!
