  1. I had my surgery on 6/6/12 and it went fine but I had a hard time waking up from anesthesia. I even had to sleep with a cpap (never had to before) and when I woke up boy was my nausea bad. I had to stay an extra two days. The next two weeks while I was on bed rest I had the same problem with the rightsided pain.It got to a point where I couldnt even walk. Come to find out my gallbladder wasnt working at all! My surgeon told me I would have to have it out and he could do it the next day. I was terrified of going under the knife again but the pain was getting worse by the day and I knew I couldnt prolong it forever. I thought that was too soon to have back to back surgeries but he assured me it was ok. Im so glad I got that gallbladder out of me. My recovery from the gallbladder surgery was great!!Total 180. I was able to wake up ok. I had absolutely NO nausea (and still to date no nausea). My incision site didnt hurt jut a little sore. The right sided pain was gone. I left the hosp the next day.

Sorry to hear that you have to go through this but hopefully hearing that I went under the knife two weeks apart gives u a little reassurance. Take all the time you need until you feel comfortable going under the knife again but also know the sooner u do it you'll feel 100xs better.Good luck!!

  2. I was so scared of my psyc eval for some reason. I was watching youtube videos of how others eval went and it had me more nervous than ever!! I even had a nightmare the night before my appt and in the dream she failed me and the hospital locked the doors right infront me :(

I had my appointment on 4/19 and it was totally not what I expected!! She was so nice. We had a convo like two old friends catching up. I felt as ease with her few questions and before I knew it our session was over. She approved me and invited me to her support group shes hosting on 2/23.

On another note...Hopefully things get better with your sister and husband.

  3. Thanks for your reply.Congrats on your last month.:)

Hopefully this dr will require only a list too.Im most worried about that factor. I talked to my insurance company(bcbs) the day after the seminar. My insuance does not require the 6mos weight loss period. They only require a bmi over 35 with co morbidities or 40 with proof of weight loss tried.

I wish my appt was sooner so I wouldnt be wrecking my brain about this.

  4. Congrats on the weightloss so far. :)

Im far away from getting my surgery date. I just went to the seminar this past week.My first consult is 3/29 which seems FOREVER away. I realized that I only have one person (my bff) that I could tell about this process without them judging me.

My mom lost abt 100 lbs naturally a few years back and she has kept it off but I on the other hand cannot keep 15lbs off to save my life. I know once I start this journey I would love to have her support but she would view this procedure as taking the easy way out. She has been so suppportive for everything else in my life but I guess I will keep her in the dark about this. Its a little easier to do this because she lives about 300 miles away.

I hope one day both our moms will have a turnaround. *fingers crossed*

ps.Keep up the good work. :)

  5. Congrats :) ......Im still in the beginning process of this whole thing and this process seems to take foreverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. I know you must be excited to actually have a date set. Im trying to eat healthier too just so I can start preparing myself bc I have a big fear that im still going to crave the same foods. So keep up the good work so I can stay inspired. :)

  6. Wow....Congrats on the next steps!!! :)
