Hey Paula!!!! I had the same problems with the night time reflux. What I did and would do is to get an unfill until the reflux goes totally away and then start with the fills again. I would not suggest getting a fill if you are still having the reflux at night. JMO!!!

I can house sit as long as the 2 babies stay with me!!! I will bring them doggie treats....2 ribeyes!

If I get unfilled then I will have to take off work again on another day to get refilled. As it is I have to take off the 19th for blood work, and then the 21st and 22nd for the surgery. I really really really don't want to have it removed and I think I am going to try and not have it removed. "dunking from everyone throwing shoes"!!!!!!!!!!

If something was to happen and I was to go into cardiac arrest or they lose me they won't stick anything in my stomach, just down my throat to my lungs. So what benefit would I have to take the fill out?

I called my lap-band surgeon and his office said no, that I don't have to, but I could just in case I had complications....Just wanted to know what everyone else would do.

For anyone out there that has had another surgery not band related did u get the band unfilled? I have to have a tumor removed from my shoulder and they are wanting to do surgery next week, but I am wondering should I get my fill out?

I weigh almost every morning. Just Wednesday I decided that my 2 year bandiversary is coming up in August and I really want to be closer to goal than I am so I started a "diet". I weighed in on Wednesday at 173.8 and today weighed 171.2, I am determined to get closer to goal........but I have to weigh daily!!!!

I would think if you called the Insurnace company they could tell you all this information. I know everyone's policy with different insurances are diffrent. Good Luck to you!

Yesterday I made my mind up that by August 20th, my two year bandiversary I will be closer to goal than I am today. I have to do this for me.....this thread has given me the motivation that I need to continue to have to the "want to" to get to this goal. Yes, I would like to be 20 lbs lighter, but if I am 10-15 lbs that would be just as wonderful. Thanks everyone for their input here!

The meetings are every first Monday of the month at the Handlebar on 9th Avenue at around 6 p.m. I think for the month of July it will be on the 11th since the first monday is on the 4th. I will try and let everyone know when I get the information!!
