I was coming on here to tell everyone that I am still around. Things are still crazy from the Hurricane and I don't have internet at work, so I am not around much at all. But, it don't seem like anyone has missed me anyway...but that is where I am..trying to remember what it is like to have Wal Mart and Waffle House 24/7.....can't wait til that happens again!

Hey.....it is me....We are currently staying in Oklahoma in a 2 bedroom cabin with 15 people.....hubby went back to work, hoping for a generator to go home, neighbors tree on the back of our house.....patiently waiting for home!!!!!!! THanks everyone...can't check in much....but I am safe!

I live in Port Neches and I think we are fixing to have to leave, my street dead ends into the Neches River, so I will more than likely not be here for the next few days!!! I will miss you guys!

Congrats to you!!! Who did your surgery?

They are evacuating the Superdome and moving them to the Astrodome in Houston!! This is horrible. I live right on the border of Texas and Louisiana and the area attractions here are letting the people that have evacuated get in for free....if we could only get the hotels to knock to price down to nothing for them. And they are raising the gas prices, they should be lowering them so people can evacuate.

Alex, I had 1 cc in my band and it was too tight, I recently had .1 cc taken out and now it is 100% better....I can't handle alot in my band either, I was having the reflux as well and Dr thought that my band might be slipped, did a Barium Swallow and all was well, I just can't handle alot of fill....so since we are bandsister's---maybe you are the same!

I feel the same way, but we just have to realize that they do have more to lose than us. Hang in there and we are doing great!!

This is funny...I have had the same thing happen to me and when I asked it to email me the password I never received it....thankfully I finally remembered it. I asked the other moderators if they were having problems and Penni said that Alex the owner has recently updated the software for the site and this may be causing the problems.......

When--August 20, 2003 almost 2 years out Weight then....235 Weight Now....170 Size Now....12-14 Height... 5'7"

Ask him to go with you and make sure he understands, that if something goes wrong that this surgery is totally reversible and the band can be taken out. I would try as hard as I could to convince him to go with you to the consultation, he would understand more about it. Tell him that if you continue the road you are on you could possibly have other diseases due to you being obese. ex...diabetes, high blood pressure, sleep apnea.....etc. Good Luck to you, and if they don't support you remember, you have us!!!!!!!!!
