THE THIRD TIME IS NO CHARM!!
well, if a banded person or a bypass or sleeve person overeats, does not follow the guidelines, they can either not lose or gain back what they lost. its just common sense. if you use a tool correctly (then it can be successful). i also had a hernia repair done as maddys and so far so good.

Scheduled Feb. 5th!!! More Terrified about Pre-Op Liq. diet :(
its hard, no doubt but in all seriousness, its a mind game we go into this thinking (we cant or its too hard) i never ever thought i could do it.....i dreaded my 2 1/2 weeks i had to do,,but on day 4 or 5, its not that bad...you detox from sugar and all toxins and you actually start feeling okay......the Protein is your fuel....so you wont starve....by drinking alot, you will realize what is really hunger or you just think you are hungry..... my saving grace was SF popsicles... just remember, this is to help shrink your liver into a piece of gorgeous so they can operate. its only for a short time but when your own it, its like forever..but you can do this if you want to. dont think you cant because deep down, YOU CAN

Bandsters hell
well, because i dont have fills, i have to eat (my allotted amount ONLY) and not go above that...so i stop at 1 cup and after 20 min period..i pretend (that i am fully restricted hence my referral to max restriction)...i made up my mind to have this surgery and do everything i had to to lose weight. that started with me being truthful and following the lap band guidelines...eat when hungry (good foods, not junk/cheap/easy) and just want it bad enough to make it happen. why are you not losing like you should? is it overeating or the type of foods?? i will help if i can

Stupid Sleep Apnea
memememe i had mild (didnt know i had it until it was part of my pre op's) i no longer use the cpac......however, i have known (thin) people who use it..so dont think its only from being overweight...it could be but am not a dr so i cannot answer as to why... but try not to focus energy on things you cant fix (the past)... you have control of the future...

Losing weight before surgery
my bmi was in the low 60's and my surgeon did not say to lose anything but i was on liquids for 2 1/2 weeks (to help my liver be gorgeous)..that is what kept me from cheating on my pre op diet, being afraid he wouldnt operate if my liver wasnt small enough

I HATE walking!
