  3. maddy is the meanie but dont tell her as her is a tattle tale but YOU did not hear that from ME
  4. i have reg coffee every morning (a large one) my dr said it was okay.....yours may or may not..but if you are concerned, just give them a jingle and see if its okay. (ps, keep away from soda, doctors say that is a no no) congrats on your recent surgery
  5. hm.......nothing about me being a best friend i dont think my rep on this forum is best friend material (nope am a meanie i hear) oh well will go stand ALONE in corner ps m1 would NOT give me the butter dangumit

  7. i will spam you in a moment check your pm GF cant have my friend weft out..........
  8. any WLS will take (work) and that is changing what you eat and the whole thing, even the bypass and sleeve while losing quicker amounts at first can stop working if the person beings to overeat (high fat junk foods) and its the same with the band.... there are pros and cons to any surgery...some like the band and some dont..everyone is different. some dont change what or how much they eat and after the bypass, now they want the band.....so its a whole mental thing. it saved my life. but i realized something. to make the band work, i have to help it. i cant expect it to do everything. go into this with a want too attitude (do whatever it takes to make it work) or you will be disappointed.
  9. please forgive me now if i am coming across harsh. short and sweet.....you are still recovering from major surgery. so stop weighing constantly you are swollen and have fluids and gas and all that goes along with it. the first month is for basically healing and getting your mind frame in the game...so dont worry about (not losing right now)..... follow your dr's guidelines..stick with it no matter what soon, very soon, you will notice a big difference...you must heal first and the best thing you can do is realize this is a process and not an overnight miracle.
  10. you deserve a gold star if i could give you one i would. you are showing exactly how its done. i see great success in your future
  11. what a hard working woman...no wonder you look so dangum gorgeous in your profile picture......sexy thang
  12. missy was 100% correct (and yes i dont have any fills but i am responding) patience is key here...in all aspects of any WLS...let the band work..it may take time but it will get there..
  13. wonder what (she wants) to disclose to me personally? maybe i dont have to eat my 1 cup of food? maybe i can now drink coors light to my hearts content gosh, i wonder if she wants my bank acct # to give me 15,000,000 also decisions

  15. what you did was something called (want power) and you showed you are stronger than you know. see how terrific you are??
  16. just depends on variances of all sorts (height/weight/your doctors instructions) mine said to aim 70+ per day.....congrats on your surgery. this is going to be a great year for you
  17. hm...(this is not good) as not being able to keep things down is dangerous...you sound (that is if you have fills) maybe way too tight. i personally would call your doctor and let them know what is happening and get this took care of.. congrats on that superb weight loss.....please call the dr and then let me how what he says...hang in there okay
  18. yes, that was me 7 months ago insides are swollen so you feel full and you are like stuffed (i am speaking from my experience and i sounds like you) just keep sipping no matter what...being dehydrated can make you sick/vomit and thats not good...if in doubt ever, please call the dr...you are worth it. hang in there okay
  19. well, easy way out? i always smile when i hear that all those pre op appts and endless tests and dr visits. 10+ hospital pre admissions, liquid diets, hospital stays, dr follow ups a month for the first year, fills........yeah its easy alright way easier to eat junk food, sit on your as* and make excuses and whine and say lets just get bypass, that way i can still eat instead of changing my attitude and life... YOU are not doing that..you are taking control of your life..YOU are a success. so go for it. do not anyone stop you. this is YOUR life. end of sermon
  20. well done jhonnie just rest and sip and congrats to you its gonna be a great year
  21. here is to the best year EVER for you.
  22. i agree with cheryl and also pm'd you i would wait til you are closer to or at goal i had a reduction done (at a larger weight than i am now) i am super duper happy dont get me wrong but i just think if you do its best to wait.
