  2. Been doing ok girl.. Actually gained 0.9 lbs this week somehow, and it's the week I started to actually get on my elliptical for 20 min 3x this week. It's a little soon to buy into the "muscle weighs more than fat" crapola.. Lol Anyways I had my 2nd fill scheduled for 4/9 and they rescheduled me for 4/16:( Hopefully I'll get a lil restriction then. Have u lost anymore this week?

  8. Ooooh love Greek food! Hummus and Feta cheese are 2 options, and yes the soups are always safe:)
  9. I also started with a lower bmi (30) and my Doc happily agreed to band me. All he has to do is use a smaller band suitable for lower bmi-ers. Perhaps he only has 1 size band? I had my surgery 2/14 and down 15.5 lbs.
  10. Yes Judy, thankfully I still can after only 1 fill. I was banded 2/14/12 down 15.5 lbs since. Hopefully after my 2nd fill I will still be able to eat anything and everything w/no problems. We shall see:)
  11. Yeah I had some cheese... With caution at first:) I would dip a cheesestick in a little hummus... So hits the spot!
  12. I love eggs hard boiled. To me they are so much more filling than scrambled or sunny side up!
  13. I agree Ken, just don't buy them until u feel u have regained control. Try not to drive by Sonic...
  14. Stuigi... Wishing u the best of luck. Gang in there, things will work out. Best wishes.
  15. Just curious about others menus today, also I'd like new ideas! Herd was mine: Breakfast: 1/2 cup ff cottage cheese w/ 1/2 cup kashi go lean crunch. Lunch: 1 egg 1 string cheese Dinner: 1 can tuna, 1/2 cup black beans, 1/4 can carrots, 1 ff jello pudding snack. Total of 905 calories:)
  16. Yes it does get better. I was so paranoid that my left shoulder would hurt forever and ever. My Doc prescribed Advil for 5 days and it magically disappeared on the 3rd day. I promise u it will get better. It seems like an eternity I know. Yes it does get better. I was so paranoid that my left shoulder would hurt forever and ever. 17. I paid for 1/2 with my income tax return, and financed the rest ( it was $10,000 total) for 2 years. I will be paying about $130 a month for 2 years:) not bad if u ask me!!
  18. Not sure... Maybe for a little healing period? I got my 1st fill yesterday and my Doc said liquids 1 day and resume to regular foods the next day. I had 2.5 cc put in, how many did u have put in Bam?
  19. Yes girls... Also tuna with fat free ricotta is bomb diggity. Ok I snorted about the pretzel sucking... Too funny!!! Lmfao!! Well since I had my fill today I've been on liquids....dinner was watered down tomato soup, a bit later I had a blueberry Greek yogurt smoothie (very runny) and just now some clear chicken broth. Let me tell u I'm soooo hungry! Afraid to drink too much water cause I'll be peeing all night!
  20. Grider, 4 lbs a month is awesome! I've been at a standstill for 2 1/2 weeks:( down a total of 14.

Plus a sugar free pudding cup:) How about you???
  22. Victory... No it did not hurt one bit! He did it so fast and w/o even numbing it, before I knew it BAM! It was over! Yes I was also surprised only 1 day of liquid. He literally said "regular diet tomorrow" I even had him repeat himself! Lol
  23. It was in his office and literally took 30sec.... No it wasn't flouro. My port is very obvious so I'm trusting my Doc!!!
  24. Well had 1st fill today (2.5 cc's) and turns out I have the Allergan:)
  25. Well my 1st fill was today and it was 2.5cc's. I'm pretty satisfied with that I suppose. The doc had me drink 2 cups of water before I left and all was good. Do u guys think 2.5 was pretty good, considering some docs only do .5 at a time? He told me liquids tonight and back to regular foods tomorrow.... Wonder if I'll feel any different?????
