I Am Down 60 Lbs
- How Does Your Partner Handle The Surgery And Weightloss???
My husband at first was not for the surgery at all. He was raised why do surgery if nothings broke. I don't think he realized I was broke with gaining all the weight that I did. I lost my dad almost 4 years ago to brain cancer and eating was how I coped with it. But once I told this is what I needed to do for my health he was more supportive with it. After surgery he was really supportive with every step so far. The only times he gets a little frustrated is when I get something stuck and there is not much you can do but wait it out. I had one time I got some chicken majorly stuck and he was so ready to take me to the er but it finally went through after two hours. But I love my husband and I want to thank him for going through this with me. He tries to understand but really can't unless he has been through this.- To Tell Or Not To Tell
I decided to tell people because I am a cosmetologist and have been for over fifteen years. I told my family of course and my husband which he wasn't for it at first. My husband does sometimes get frustrated with me or maybe just scared for me when something gets stuck or I'm feeling sick because he can't fix it. I have told a lot of my clients because so many of them I have do.e their hair for so many years that they are friends not just clients. I like people knowing because for me it keeps me on the right path and I like the support.- I Am Down 60 Lbs
It seems so unreal that I am down that much but I have clothes that haven't fit forever and I can wear them once again. It hasn't been easy and I haven't been perfect on eating everyday but it is slowly coming off. I am feeling so great. My mom told me to go to the grocery store and pick up 6 ten lb bags of potatoes and see how much I have gotten rid of. I can believe I was carrying that around. Wow I can say I am proud but not done. Next goal 100. Here I come 100. Haha- How Long Did It Take You To Lose 100 Lbs

Yeah I can't eat bread either. And I also have never been brave enough to try pb because I am sure of the out come. I am on my fourth fill and it has limited lots if my foods. Since it is trail and hurt if it doesn't work out. I know how I am losing weight because there are a lot of foods that are no Nos any more. But I know for sure bread is a no no.- Doc Mortenson

I went to the doctor last weds and he said if I am losing hair that it should stop soon and start growing back. I think my hair loss has started to slow down but not all the way. I am for sure getting good quality protein and enough of it. I am also taking biotin and zinc everyday because reading up in it that what docs recommend. Has anyone hair started to grow back after that lost some????- First 50# Off Nsv
I have lost 58 lbs. Went to doctor today and was wearing some summer clothes from last year and they were way too big. So sad I have to go shopping again. Ross has become my new favorite store. I can get clothes there for cheaper. Congrats to you!- What Supplements Do You Use To Help With Hairloss?
I was banded on Dec 19th 2011 and its been a couple of weeks of me loading hair. I am not sure if its the major shock of the lap band to my system or lack of nuitrients or from the anastegia OK spelt that wrong from the surgery. I am not sure of the cause but I hope it stops soon. I love my hair and when I was bigger it was my hair that I still loved. But I am taking biotin every day and drinking lots of unjury protein. I just want to know what else I can do. And how long does this last? Does the hair ever come back?!?!?!? Help please!- When Does The Hair Loss Stop?

I am getting my protein in everyday. I know whenever you majorly change your diet it effects other parts of your body. I was just wondering what some other peoples thoughts were on hair loss!!!!- Not Sure What Is Going On???

Thank you every one. Its hard work to stay on track and eat the right foods sometimes. But eating the right ones you get to your goals. I reached my first goal and now my next is 75 lbs! I know I can reach it!- Im Down 51 Lbs
I was banded Dec 19th 2011 and I am currently down 51 lbs. Its been good so far. I had one Major time of food getting stuck and that was last weds. That hurt so bad. But other than that I have been doing good. Its funny how I dont crave a lot of the foods I loved before surgery. I just know those foods are bad news and they probally will hurt. I love my band. I so hope at one year out I will have lost 100 lbs but I am just taking it one day at a time!!!!!!- Not Sure What Is Going On???
I just wonder why now I am not feeling much restriction when eating. I wonder if I slipped some.- Not Sure What Is Going On???
I went out to eat with my family and we went to a buffett. I am usually ok at buffett because I can pick a little of things I can eat. So I was eating a little protein first like usual. And all the sudden I could feel it really tight inside like you have eaten too much. So I sipped on some water because sometimes it helps things pass through for me. But after that drink of water I had to run to the bathroom. My body was trying to make me throw up but no food would come up just the water. So I was in the bathroom for a while then told my family we needed to leave. I went home and the whole way my body was trying to get the food unstuck and trying to make me throw up. We got home and I was on the couch for a while and I couldnt take it anymore so i drank a lot of water. It instantly came back up and then I felt relief like the food had passed through. So i was very scared about eating anything to dense right at first so i stuck to very soft fod for two days. And now I have tried more dense food and I havent really felt the restriction like before. I hope I didn't mess up my band. I have been reading and to my understanding if your band slips it is usually still painful but I dont have one bit of pain except a little sore throat still from my body trying to throw up. Does anyone have any ideas??- Does Anyone Use Unjury?
I use unjury. I really like it! It has the most Protein out of a lot of protein powders that i have looked at. I use the unflavored everyday since all I can drink is Water or light drinks. I use iot with crystal light flavors and add the unflavored Unjury to it and have protein while enjoying a glass of crystal light. You might as well have protein in something you are going to drink. I also add the unflavored to my sugar free pudding and love that as well. I am a big fan of the Unjury. The only con I see with the Unjury is I wish it was a little cheaper!
