My energy is doing ok, but if I dont take the B12 I can really feel the lack of it. When is your first fill phatkat?

I got that from someone I expected to be my biggest support, my mom. Any surgery is going to have risks. This is one of the safest and has the shortest recovery time. I asked a ton of questions and felt so at ease when I went it. My surgeon was great. I was banded on 2/15 and I feel great. The first few days were rough for me but it took about a week or so before I was 100%. I found so much information and support here, and hopefully you will too!

I will have to see if she is open to maybe teaming up, but I can not allow her to try and de-rail me. I will say again I am no expert in any of this but I know if we follow the rules that we have a better chance to succeed.

That is a great feeling! I got my first fill a week ago and I am surprised at how little food I am satisfied with. I'm not having any issues either which is great!

I know!! LOL! I really liked them and thought some day I would be able wear them again.

Ok so back to the vitamin section I go! Thanks ladies. I cant't let myself get so run down.

You are doing great lady!! You and I are running right together and 12 pounds is awesome!! I have found for me when I get to feeling a bit run down or my head is hurting, it is usually one of two things. I have forgotten to take my vitamins, I take calcium and a multi twice a day. Or I have let too much time go by without eating. For me I have to remember to eat. Congrats to your hubby and welcome him to bandland for us!

Shauna I was wondering the same thing! I told her I was somewhat hungry in between meals,but not starving. This was the first fill.

Now I do have to say my mother is generally not this judgemental. She is my biggest fan and support but she did not agree with the choice. I am hoping she comes around but if she does not, we will have to agree to disagree.

I have my first road trip next week andit will be right after my first fill. I think I will stock a small cooler with protein shakes and water to make it through my trip.

See I am wondering if I have any fill? I am not hungry and get full on small amounts.

Im so glad you are feeling better. I still am a little bothered by the gas but it has faded. Rest as much as you can and follow your post op instructions. I will be three weeks out tomorrow and have my first fill next week. I am still not that hungry. Hang in there!

I did talk to the doc yesterday. He said now I can start to eating breakfast lunch and dinner. He does not want me to snack in between, but if I am hungry I can have a healthy snack. The problem still lies in that I am not hungry. Yesterday was better, but I am going to try to follow the eating routine.

My doc told me not to eat if i was not hungry, but I am going to confirm with him today.

Oh and my first fill is scheduled for 3/14. So right at a month after my surgery

I saw the post about the protein drink and that irked me. Why would you post that here?

My biggest hurdle was sweets!! I love juice but I started drinking more water with Crystal Light. Now I dont even add the Crystal Light! Best of luck to you on your journey!
