  8. I am glad to see you well again. I remember the terrible time you had when you discovered your leak. You are a strong woman. Great job successfully losing your weight. Good luck with your continuing journey.
  9. I love chobani, I have tried others and there is no comparsion.
  10. My 6 months post op pictures. I cant believe it is really me in those pictures. I would like to lose about fifty more pounds. My skin is not shrinking back very well.
  11. It is pretty nasty, I have tried it. I personally like the Unjury Chicken flavor protein mix. I dont like any other protein mixes, it still makes me ill drinking them.
  12. I would like to weigh 145 pounds, have a perfect flat tummy with perky breasts, round ass and hair flowing down my back. I want to be walking down the beach with a new love in daisy duke shorts with a tank top on while my ex-husband (who bought me a pig once and made some oinking noises telling me that I reminded him of a their species) is standing with his latest bimbo longing to be with me again. Actually, he did me a favor by cheating on me so maybe I dont want him wanting me again.
  13. Bread, pasta, rice, any sugary foods, fried foods make me vomit or feel terrible for hours like I want to vomit.
  14. I miss soda and french fries. However, they are pretty nasty tasting now.
  15. I am six months post op and will be happy to help you in any way.
  16. When people ask me how I have lost so much weight I do share that I have had weight loss surgery. I am not ashamed and I am pround of my accomplishments. However, you do get a few snide remarks such as "oh you took the easy way out". I dont consider this any easier than losing weight by counting calories, etc. The surgery was hard, and eating still can be difficult. It is a matter of what you feel comfortable sharing.
  17. There was a girl at work who had the lap band surgery the same time I had my surgery. The other day I was speaking to her about the success of her operation. I dont see much of a change in her. She said she wasnt losing the weight she wanted to and started resorting to taking diet pills. I was astonished, why have the surgery if you are going back to the same lifestyle as before. I believe that we become relaxed in our dietary consumptions and fell back into the same trap. For several weeks I found myself eating fat free sugar free fudge popsicles constantly. I didnt gain any weight but I had to ask myself, why? I had to rethink and reevaluate my eating habits. I dont want to gain the weight I have lost. I feel wonderful but I can see how it is easy to fall back into that trap. It will be a struggle, we are food addicts and we need to focus on what makes us want to eat and how we can redirect our atttention to other outlets.
