Eat protein, beef jerky or chicken. That will keep you full. You are allowed to eat, just make sure you primary source of food is good protein. I have found when I do that I feel fuller longer. Eating right is apart of weight loss. If you do not eat enough you will not lose. Everything will be fine, eat every three to four hours. Again making protein the primary source.

That is awesome! I hope that I can start hitting the gym again this week. I miss it, I think once I start doing that then my success will go through the roof.

Congratulation RoeRoe. I am glad everything went well. I get mine on 12/22, I am currently on a liquid diet. You are correct, it is hard with all of these holiday parties. My employees are killing me though, they keep bringing me treats that I normally would eat but can't @ this time. I show my gratitude and take the treats but I eventually give them away. I wish you success with your journey, I will be here supporting you.

Great job Jen, I am on the same page. I am on day three of my liquid diet and my surgery is 12/22. It has been hard but where I am trying to get to has been my motivation! Congratulations on your success.

Congratulations, I am happy for you. I am glad everything went well. Did you have any issues after surgery? Nausea, vomiting, or any other issues?

Congrats on your decision to make this journey. I am with you, I just made my decision a couple of months ago. I am due for surgery in a couple of weeks. My wife was hesitant for me as well but she is on board now. Do this for you and your health. Include your fiancee in your journey.

Lapband is the safest option, but depending on your BMI you may not qualify. Most surgeons want your BMI below 50. Lapband is reversible where bypass isn't. With bypass they cut out part of your stomach plus change your plumbing. With bypass you will lose the weight faster, you can only eat so much. For me I chose lapband, I felt it was the safest option. Hope this helps.

I tell people to stay away from scales. Especially if you are weight training. Like Jenn said muscles weigh more than fat. So they scale may stay the same or creep up. Pay attention to how your clothes fit, how you feel, and how you look. Only hop on to the scale when you go to the doctor.
