Eat protein, beef jerky or chicken. That will keep you full. You are allowed to eat, just make sure you primary source of food is good protein. I have found when I do that I feel fuller longer. Eating right is apart of weight loss. If you do not eat enough you will not lose. Everything will be fine, eat every three to four hours. Again making protein the primary source.

Yogurt, protein smoothies, try to stay away from the breads and cereals ... you will get thru it. :))

I agree protien is the way to go. I had my first fill last Saturday. I'm waiting two weeks and if I don't lose I'm calling the doc for another fill, I gained one lb. Remember the band is a tool, not cure. Think of it as portion control with an edge!

Thank you guys....I do love jack Links beef jerky....I hate slim jim too much grease and fat YUK! i guess I better get a big jar of jerky and more shakes....i just dont do that because most blogs say that your body just gets rid of of the EXTRA protein because it only absorbs certain amounts like 30-35 gr I think

Hang in there. I went a few weeks without a loss and then it started again.

I totally understand what you are going through. My surgery date was 12/3 and I had my first fill on 1/4. My appetite started to increase on yesterday. It is OUT OF CONTROL. I am attempting to eat a lot of protein. I can't wait until my next fill 2/1. I have not gained nor lose any weight since my last fill. I freaked out the time of the last fill scared I would be in the red zone; but next week I am going to ask that they put as much as possible in. I haven't had an appetitie like this since being banded. Let's hang on and be strong. Protein, Protein, Protein.
