Hi Angie,
I am told that you feel restriction when you obtain your "sweet spot" in your band and you will not feel hungry. You have to keep getting a fill to feel restriction which means you will "feel full".

Hey, I really don't like mean people but I have thankfully that I have not come into one here! Bah, don't let anyone get you down, you look great and you have so much to be proud of on your weight loss journey. Life is short-keep positive-follow the WLS rules.

Exercise is very hard to get back into but if you find workout that you love-it will click for you and you will like to exercise. Good luck on your running!

Hi- Filter out those folks who stare at us who are obese and trying to get into shape. The great thing to think about is that sweat that leaves your body is another pound off! ROAR!

Hi- I totally understand about that soda! That soda will keep you from wt loss- no matter if it's diet or not! Water or crystal light "I only use half for my water bottle" or You will face many battles to fight on this wt loss journey. I was told on my pre-op instruction for my band in September "no bubbles" NEVER! I have been on a struggle since January to get this pre-op 10 pounds for my band in September. Exercise keeps me going now and away from my bad habits. Good luck!

Dear Discouraged,
I have not been banded yet, but here is a great reference for you on UTube and search lapband 2012 so many banders experiences. Here are some pointers that I have researched. Eat with a baby spoon. Eat on a small plate. Dont eat and drink at the same time. CHEW YOUR FOOD 30 TIMES EACH BITE! Don't over eat as soon as you feel yourself full STOP EATING! Start to exercise when your wounds heal.
