  1. Thank you. I see you are doing good as well.
  2. lol this is so true.
  3. I never had the band but yes you definitely feel the difference right away. For instance, water was hard to drink at first but now I'm 2 months out and I can drink plenty. Also you will feel it everytime you eat because your stomach is still tender. All of this will get better as you heal. My experience has been great so far and pain was minimum. The most pain I have experienced thus far is a sore throat from the ng tube. I know everyone is different but for me things have been good so far.
  4. You look great and I just love the way you turned to the side. Nice job.
  5. Thanks to each and everyone of you for the kind words of encouragement. This site has given me the confidence to post full body pics. I would have never done something like this in the past because I have always been ashamed of my weight. Thanks again and I wish all of you much success.
  6. That would be great! Please keep in touch.
  7. Thank you Mom of 2. I feel GREAT. I've actually started to jog a little bit while walking. It feels great.
  8. I'm 2 months out and I'm not quite where I want to be but thank God I'm not where I used to be. I'm making progress and wanted to share a couple of pics below. The night before surgery and last night.
  9. I think you have a positive attitude. Keep up the good work and I know you will do good. You lost a lot of weight prior to surgery and I know you will be even more awesome with it. I think about food everyday too and that's because I love catering and feeding others. I also love trying new dishes. I have willpower and so do you. You will NOT fail. God Bless You!
  10. Congrats on getting your date Yecats!! I'm very excited for you.
  11. Is it just me or has anyone else been experiencing problems with coming on to the website?
  12. My appointment was not until tomorrow but I went in with a friend whom I referred. I was asked well since you are here today do you want to weigh? I said sure. I got on the scale and was down 8 more lbs. That brings my total weight loss thus far to 35lbs. Thank God for my sleeve! :xena_banana:
  13. I know I have lost some weight. At this point I'm not sure how much. I refuse to weight because I rather weight at my doctor appointments. My next appoinment is the 18th and I will be sure to let you all know how much I have lost. Thanks for your support.
  14. Hi Vance, Congratulations and welcome!
  15. I'm almost two months out and I'm sure I can eat like that now. You are doing good. Keep up the good work.
  16. My surgery went great. The most pain I had was a sore throat from the ng tube. I healed nicely and I'm doing good. The best decision I made. You will be fine. I wish you the best.
  17. Great news and congrats so far on the 61 lbs lost. You look great!
  18. Wow Looou you were gorgeous then and you are gorgeous now. Great post and you all look amazing! I can't wait to post mine.
  19. My doctor did not give me a leak test either or so I thought. So on my appointment day I asked him why didn't he give me a leak test like everyone else was talking about. He replied he did give me a leak test in the operating room while I was asleep. lol so my mystery was solved. It's so funny how the doctors all do things so different.
  20. Thank you because I would have never figured it out.
  21. Again congrats and the next time I'm over that way I should look you up and we should do lunch. I drove there last year for 2 weeks straight to go to Dan Tadeo's school of RE for my broker's course and I love the Olive Gardens there. BTW who is DH? is that Dumb Husband? lol
