Well Tracy, I will keep my fingers crossed for you. I called the Docs office first thing this morning because they were wanting to cancel my fill appointment. I told them no that I need to come in. I have an 11:15 appointment but not with the Doc. So i won't be able to talk to him about having the surgery. I'll talk to his nurse though and let her know that I would like to wait till about Oct. Then Hubby and I are driving over to chili's to meet my friend that I only get to see everytime I go to the Docs. She lives out that way. It sounds like she lives in another country when actually she only lives about 40 miles from here. But we always have such a good time and i enjoy our meetings. Yesterday Hubby and I started our new walking regime. The weather has really cooled off here for a few days so it is really nice to get out and walk. Plus I need to build my strength and endurance up for our trip. T&A, (tracy & angela), How long does it take to get from Dallas to your area? I think it is about a 9-10 hour drive from here to Dallas. Trying to figure out if we can do it in one day. Michelle, so glad you are feeling better. Cindy, You all ready for school? Be back after my appointment and lunch.

That's why I'm excited about the kids going back to school. I now have places to myself. Not that I don't like them. I like to watch a movie with out all the movement or talking. And definitely having to dodge kids at the mall. Tracy, if I have gotten hired with my weight, I know that you will too. Besides, your personality will overshadow your weight. Good Luck. The kids are on their way over to go swimming. I hate that they come so late on Sunday evening, but at least they are coming. Angela and Tracy, are you guys in the Houston area? For some reason I was thinking you guys were in the Dallas area.

Oh Tracy, I will keep my fingers crossed for you. Isn't it weird though how that came about?? But I am wishing you luck. Michelle, so sorry about your migraine. I have never had one but I've had a few really bad headaches. I'll keep it right at that. Hope tomorrow brings a better day for you. Angela, That is too funny about you and Tracy running into each other. I'm working really hard at getting our schedule straight and I will let you guys know when and if I am on my way. Jenn, you having a good weekend. How as the concert?? Hubby and I had to run to the pool store, a hose sprung a leak. Came home and did some house and yard work and then got in the pool. Swam for little over an hour. Got out and got ready for church, came home and cooked some burgers on the grill. Now it's chill out time and to bed early. Hey Bethany, Hope your having a good day.

Bethany, that's why you need to come here no matter what. I went and had 4cc's taken out before my surgery and like you said. I found out real quick that the Fat Girl still lives in me. I actually ate a hamburger one day. I haven't had a hamburger since before being banded. But it's like I feel like I need to get in all the junk I can because when I go back for my fill next week, I won't be able to do that. It's a lot harder to do than I lead mysef to believe. I was hoping to have lost 30 pounds by the time we left for our vacation, as it is, I have gained about 7 pounds. I had set that goal back in the winter time knowing that I had time to lose it. Now I hang my head in shame. But I figure I'm still a lot smaller now then when all these people seen me last. Hang in there Bethany. Ok, off to the pool. Be back in a little bit.

Happy Friday the 13th. Home from the gym. I walked on the treadmill and did my stretches. I decided to get on the bike to see how it would feel. Did pretty good so I rode for about a quarter mile, I didn't want to over do it. Feeling pretty good. It's gonna be a hot one here today. We already have done some pool stuff getting it ready for the weekend. I'm gonna use it. Now it is off to take sis to go get her groceries. Have a good one today.

Hey Girls. Been sitting here for two days now. My ass is so sore. But I need to get this counted cross stitch done. I should finish up tonight or first thing in the morning. Good thing cause I still need to get in framed before we leave. Good thing is that I have gone thru a lot of movies and can erase them from the DVR. Cindy, do the get detention for being late to class because they had to wait in line for the bathroom? I hope they hurry as fast as they can get to the school finished. Another Hot one here today but they are calling for in the eighties for next week. Looking forward to it. We actually got in the pool last night as the sun was setting. It felt really good with the heat. Have a great day.

Tracy, are you asking me about L.A.? I was actually born there and lived there till I was 21 years old. Moved here to MO. and love it. I wouldn't move back for nothing. Hubby and I are going out there for a wedding and if it wasn't for that I wouldn't be going. I have no desire to go back there again. I miss alot but this is home now. The movie I watched was called "Duplicity". I wasn't impressed with it. I fell asleep towards the end and woke up in time to watch the last 20 minutes of it. Hubby came out around 12:30 and we went swimming for about an hour. Now I'm gonna sit and sew for awhile. Hope everyone is having a great day.

Angela, sorry about the unill but I know how much better you must be feeling. I had 4cc's taken out before my surgery and my aspiration problems have gone away. I love it but know I still need to have my hernia repaired. I go see the Doc this next monday. But in the mean-time I have had to work really hard at not eating everything I can get my hands on. It is so hard. I try to do the WW mindset and watch my calories. That seems to help a little. Good luck to you. Jenn, I don't know if it is as hot there as it is here but becareful working so much in the heat. And have a great time at the Zac Brown concert. That sounds like so much fun. They look like they would put on a great concert. Kids are almost back to school here. Love it. Cindy, I still remember enough spanish from living in L.A. to get by with. I understand it a little better than I can speak it. But I would love to be very fluent at it. Hi Tracy. Off to work, have a great day.

A new day started today. I have an appointment next Monday with the Band Doc. I am going to try very hard to loose a few of the ten pounds I gained after surgery. So today was a very good day. Even eating the food at the funeral. I stuck to veggies and fruits but I did have a very small brownie. Dinner was a yogurt and I've had a few pretzels to snack on. So one day down 6 more to go. I hope Kat is having a spectacular time. What's everyone been up too?

Hey Girls, very long day here today and I'm ready for bed right now. I'm pooped. I woke up around 3am and had the worst throbbing in my knee area. Never did figure out wht was going on. I got up and finally put some Ben-Gay on and went back to bed to only read for about an hour. Finally got to sleep and then the alarm went of at 6:30. Holy crap. So drag my fanny out of bed and take a shower. I went to Wal-Mart about 7:45. Came home and hubby was ready to go. We unloaded the stuff and then took of for Lone Jack. Powell Gardens is having their Butterfly Festival. We had such a good time and hubby behaved himself. No bugging me to leave. We did do a lot of walking tho. Came home and we swam for about 4 hours. In and out of the pool, but mostly in. It is really hot out today. The sun is a scorcher. Here's a few pics from today. Hope you all had a great weekend.

Morning. I went to bed at 8:30pm last night. I could hardly keep my eyes open. I woke up at 6am this morning. I guess I was one tired girl. Now I need to get ready for a 3 hour shift at work. Tracy, One time wehn we lived in an apartment my sister was staying with us.We were on the ground floor and never really had any problems with our neighbor upstairs but the guys next to us partied like crazy till 3-4am. We never heard them, our bedroom was on the other side but my sister was sleeping in the living room and they would keep her up all night. I politely wrote a note asking them if they could keep the noise down for us working folks. I taped it to their door. We never had a problem with them after that. I didn't want to go to management, I wanted them to know that we could settle this ourselves. But had they not calmed down I would have stepped it up. They would have found out what it would have been liked to be woken up after an all night party. Tonight is card night. I just found out I have to bring the chees dip and chips. Off to the store I go. lol. Have a great weekend everyone.

I've heard that about the heart monitor, that you hook it up to the phone. That is so cool. We will try very hard to make it your way Tracy and Angela. But with my surgery I'm not wanting to push myself. We will see how I feel after we leave Kats. Cindy, hope your mouth gets to feeling better now. Sweet dreams tonight about the Doc. lol. Kat, have a great time and if you get a chance, check in. We will miss you till you get home safely. But have fun.

Hey girls. Home from a very busy morning. The first Thursday is always our Family Breakfast. We had a great time. Left there and went to the pool store to return my goggles. I bought them last monday and tried them out and they leaked, so I replaced them. From there we drove to the Doc's office and sat for 1 1/2 till we got in. His assistant came in and we went over everything. All is good. So I was released from him. I still have the restrictions but I don't need to go back unless something (God forbid) comes up. Good news. Now I'm resting for awhile before I have to go into work at 3pm. No swimming today. Michelle, we had a vinyl fence put in for about 1/3 of our yard. It was over 3 thousand for that. I called and got an estimate for the rest of the yard and they wanted over 8 thousand for it. My BIL said he could install it so we bought the supplies from the company and paid a little over 3 thousand for the materials. I wanted a wood fence but hubby and the fence guy talked me into the vinyl. Glad they did, no more animals in our back yard. They can't climb it. I love the privacy but miss the openess of the chainlink. Who knew fencing was so expensive. Kat, you getting excited about your trip? Also, sometime in the next few weeks can you pm me a list of Motels in your area? See ya tonight after I get home from work.

Hubby and I both know that every time he leaves that anything can happen while he is on the bike. I think right now he is just spooked by the last couple of events that have happened. He will find his time again. I know that I'm going to pay more attention to riders while I'm out. More than I have before. Went to work tonight and they called for another body bag. I instantly volunteered to take it. They were kinda freaked out about it. I told them that I hope that when my time comes that I hope that there are compassionate peopl like me around. People that care for people that they have never met but still feel saddened by there passing enought to help out. I love my job. The weather out is just perfect for swimming but I went and had my hair done today. Not sure I want to get chlorine on my new color yet. When I was laying there and she was washing my hair she told me not to move, that she was going to wax my brows. What??? My hair is so light that no one sees my brows. So she even dyed them to mach my hair and then waxed them. OMG. Not sure I want to have that done again, lol. It really wasn't that bad, just freaky.

Oh and I'm not sure I mentioned this. I have a nephew on my husbands side that will be banded on the 31st. By my Doc. Him and his wife have a set of 8 year old twins and then 3 years later were blessed with another set of twins. Holy Cow, could you imagine. Anyway, they are all great kids and I love them dearly. My nephew decided that he needed to get his health under control so that he will be there for them as they grow.

Jenn, I must be one of the last people on earth that does not have a tattoo. And never will have one. But I am totally facinated by them. When I am with some one that has one I study it alot. I love the coloring and the stories behind them. Hubby and I just got home from the gym, yes I said the gym. First time since my surgery. Alls I did was walk on the treadmill and it felt good. My partner that's always there when I work out was there a surprised like heck when he walked in the door. I'm really glad that I went because it is hot and humid outside and I wasn't looking forward to a mile walk in that junk. Kat. I love the pics you have posted on FB. I could see you sleeping on that bike. It looks so comfortable. Did I tell you that last week we found out that a guy we work out with was killed on his way to work on his bike? Hubby took it pretty hard especially with the BIL still in the hospital after his Bike accident. So we were walking to the car in the garage and passed by the bike and I told him that if he never road again that it would be fine with me. I would not blame him. But I want him to take his time and feel good about getting back on it. I also told him that if he decided to never ride again that we were not going to sell the bike. I gave that to him for our 20th wedding anniversary and it holds special meaning to us. Plus it is a 100th edition Harley. So it's not going anywhere. Has anyone heard from Bethany in a while? Michelle, How's retirement going, lol? You enjoyng a little freedom for awhile? Have fun. Hi Cindy, When is back to school for you? Kids start here on the 18th. I'm excited. Angela, When I know when we will be in your area I will let Tracy know and you guys can figure out where to meet up. I'm not sure if it will be an overnight stay or just a few hours. I'll keep you guys posted. I have an appointment to have my hair colored and cut at 10am. Then it's our dya to work at the hospital. I'll check in later.
