  1. I was sleeved on 2/6 also. Feeling ok, learning what I can and cannot drink, but having a horrible constant gas like pain right in the middle of my chest. I'm calling my dr today since it's becoming bothersome.
  2. I get them when I'm full. Haven't heard anything about them being tied to a leak though.
  3. I too was only injected with blood thinners while in the hospital. Between my liquid Vicodin and absorbable Zofran that was $200. Yikes! I'm eating the Zofran like candy. Even water makes me nauseated.
  4. Thanks ladies!!
  5. Does anyone use firming lotion or can it hinder weight loss? I'm being sleeved on Monday and while I'm happy with my decision to do so and know that it's for health reasons, I am afraid of saggy skin and deflated boobs. I've always had huge boobs so I'm sure I'll need a lift if anything. I'm going through a separation and will eventually begin dating again. I've always had body image issues being over weight, and I'd hate to have body image issues while I look great in clothes but am still afraid to be seen naked. Guess there's always plastic surgery down the road . Oh and is there anyone else close to my size? I'd love to hear how your body has changed. I'm 5'6, 46DDD, Size 18-20 pants, 26-28 shirt, and 24 dress.
  6. Good luck to you! I'm being sleeved on Monday as well!!
  7. I'll be sleeved on 2/6 and I'm worried about the girls. I've always been top heavy and I'm a 48DDD now. I would like to get down to a DD but I so hope I don't have too much skin. Have any of you tried using firming lotion?
  8. Hi everyone! I'm scheduled for my sleeve on 2/6 and have been on the pre-op diet for over a week now. I've read so many others are on all liquids but I'm on high protein/low calorie. I've been doing really good for the most part - 2 protein shakes a day, lean meat, veggies, etc. but I've slipped and had a few carbs - a cookie here and there and some potato chips last week. But I haven't had any rice, pasta, bread, etc. When I went for pre-op with my FP (who has also been sleeved), he told me NO carbs allowed, but my surgeon's office never said that. So I called them and confessed of my slips they said I'd be fine. I mean, I went from eating greasy fast food cheeseburgers and something fried every single day to eating healthy. Surely most of the fat in my liver is gone, right?
  9. I'm so tempted to stray from my diet. I know I shouldn't but going out and having a drink sounds so good right now.
  10. I'm scheduled for 2/6 as well. Woo Hoo!!! Nerves and anxiety settling in!!
  11. I started my pre-op diet yesterday too. Surgery is scheduled for 2/6! I'm not on strictly liquids though. Just high protein/low carb. Liquids only though the day before surgery. Nerves setting in!!! Good luck to all of you and WE CAN DO THIS!!!!
  12. Hi everyone! I'm new here and will be sleeved in January. I'm just wondering if the hunger and/or cravings is only gone for months or if it lasts longer. Thanks!
