Congrats on your surgery, wishing you a fast recovery!

Yay

I was sleeved on 2/6 also. Feeling ok, learning what I can and cannot drink, but having a horrible constant gas like pain right in the middle of my chest. I'm calling my dr today since it's becoming bothersome.

Me too!! I'm getting my protein and water in but I seriously can not wait to graduate up to mushies!!

I am learning the true size of my new stomach... I am soo looking forward to mushies too... I am down 20 lbs since beginning liquid diet.. So I am sitting @ 229. I will be glad when I get these staples out... They r itchin like crazy!!!!

So far I've had blended Soup, cream of chicken, cream of wheat Cereal, fauxsagna (ricotta cheese sprinkled with garlic with a spoon of spaghetti sauce on top) and half an ounce of 50x chewed scrambled eggs.

I can barely take a few bites of any one thing, but the cream of wheat went down SOOOO well!

Still on liquids as well...wondering if I can try a little crushed cracker with my strained cream soup.... Any suggestions?

heyyy sleeve buddies! just checking in (: so far so good, my new stomach is amazing. im on the pureed diet right now and so happy to be off the liquids. hope everyone is doing great and cant wait for more updates!

Had my 1st post op visit today and got the dang drain out! soooo glad of that. No problems so far, been able to drink good and started full liquids yesterday.

Dr, said everything is looking good! He did send me to have a CBC and a UA though since my pulse was high and my temp was 99.2. They were fine though I think I was just nervous to have the drain out LOL

With the preop and post op weight loss I"m down #15... so that works for me, wish it was more but hey it will keep going down...and I will be where I wanna be in no time :) keeping my eye on the prize !

Hi. I go for my check up tomorrow. I hope he takes the drain out!!! I'm on 2 optifast shakes a day plus jello, broth, and water. Can't wait to try new foods. I was sleeved also on the 6th. Everything went great except I got a urinary tract infection. I have never had one before. Great luck to everyone!!!!

Hey sleeve buddies! I went for my one week check up on Monday. Everything going well. So far I'm down 10 pounds since surgery. Woo hoo but damn I am sick of liquids! Bring on the mush! Doctor said technically I start on Monday but he wouldn't be opposed if I started on Friday as long as I can tolerate it. Blended soup is so not appetizing but it does the job. Learning my new tummy is interesting. Strange sensations but no pain and just a little discomfort from time to time. Has anyone else noticed bad hunger breath since surgery?
