I feel like I am drinking all day. My dr wants me to get in 60 g of protein a day. I get 40g from the Isopure drink, 15g from my protein shake (I am supposed to have 2 a day) and I also been drinking water and crystal light. I am 5 weeks out and still on liquids.

hi!!!! I'm doing good. My Dr. has me on clear liquids andshakes for 4 weeks and then week 5 I can have yogurt, cottage cheese and 6 week I can have soft cheese, soft protein, soups, and shakes. Week 7 I can start eggs, chicken, fish, turkey. I can't wait until week 7!!!! Hope everyone else is doing great!!!! How much excerise is everyone getting?

Hi. I go for my check up tomorrow. I hope he takes the drain out!!! I'm on 2 optifast shakes a day plus jello, broth, and water. Can't wait to try new foods. I was sleeved also on the 6th. Everything went great except I got a urinary tract infection. I have never had one before. Great luck to everyone!!!!

I have a dr. appoitment today and am looking for some questions to ask him. My sleeve is scheduled for Feb 6th. I have witen done questions for heartburn, vitamins, timeline for food, how much fluid, water, protein. Are there any complication questions I should be asking??

Today I am visting my dr and I am not sure if I am asking the right questions. I am being sleeved Feb 6th. I have a lot of questions about complications because I am stating to have a lot of fears about the surgery lately. I have questions about vitamins, gall bladders, eating timeline, heartburn. I feel like I am forgetting a bunch of stuff. BTW This board has been a lifesaver for me. I am learning so much!!!
