That is so interesting. I grew up overseas so I love to hear of someone in another country. Are you in the military, if you dont mind me asking? I have seen on this site, different answers to staying off work. I suppose we are just all different. i have seen from 1 week to six weeks off. So along with you, i too will see what others say. Good luck and best wishes on your new journey into your new life

  18. I hope everything is goes well. After this u should be well on your way into your new journey!!
  19. I am sorry you are feeling the way that you do. The whole reason for this surgery, I no for me anyway, is that you are to loose the weight and feel happy and healthy about yourself. U are gona have to find a way to deal with the emotional eating. U dont want to hurt yourself by trying to do things that you are not suppose to be doing. U are going to have to refocus and realize that this is a change for the better. We can not expect to put our bodies through surgery and still do the things that we once were doing. That is what simply got us here. Me myself have been trying to slowly do things to treat myself rather than treat myself to dinners and favorite foods. I will keep you in my prayers. I want you to win and not allow the food to win over you. It is going to be okay. Stay positive and stay focused!! U can do it!
  20. Congrats to you on your new beginning
  21. I totally understand where you are coming from. I too have only told a few people. Some are totally against it. I do not have advice on how your huband is taking it but I can say that you have to make this decision for yourself. People do not understand what we feel within our own skin. It has never been about being a size 5. I want this to be healthy. I am using my sleeve as a tool not as a total solution to my problem. I do feel it is a mind thing as well. For those of us whom are emotional eaters, we do have to take contol of past issues, current issues, and after getting sleeved, any issues that are to come. I plan to seek counseling to help with some of my issues. This is a huge life changing event for you. I too, have tried several diets. It is hard to stay on them. Pray about it. We will pray with and for you. And I pray that your husband will come around and understand why you are about to go through with this life changing event and how important it is to you. Keep us posted
