30lbs on scale but dont relly see it
I can see the difference, and the scale does not lie. You may not see it yourself for a while. For me the brain was the last thing to catch up with the image. Keep up the good work. And the advice is NO, say nothing to others unless they ask you for advice. It may only embarrass them and make them feel even worse. Trust me from having been there. I KNEW I was huge, and would not have appreciated having it brought to my attention.

Hungry
I sipped a bit all day, and never felt hungry. Everyone is different. Some hunger pains are gas though, so you might try Gas-x and walking.

Pills?
I take mine whole... I did have to go out and buy the mini calcium pills, but other than that no problem. Oh... and I had trouble with the big calcium before the surgery!

MAD
Ms Rhonda, it is absolutely normal to have all the thoughts and concerns you are having. I know I surely did. Gradually you will get used to what the new normal is and life will smooth out. We are here is you need to vent. CarolinaGirl just wants to you be happy, not sad. That's a good thing. She cares. She would never mean to offend you any way. She is a happy person and wants all of us to be happy. Realistically, it is not possible to be always happy, but it is good to look for the positive. As for burps, annoying in public yes, and embarrassing, but if it helps be me thinner and healthier, I say let em rip. My momma always told me better out than in! LOL. Hope things continue to settle down for you. You are doing very well so far!.

Tummy tuck and breast left on Tuesday 12/18
They should heal pretty flat. I had some places like that between my legs when I did a thigh lift, and the incision opened up. Takes a while to heal, but looks fine now. Slightly different texture than the rest of the scar line, but acceptable given it's location. You seem to be healing very well!

Ok to be scared?
Scared + Nervous = NORMAL! You will do great. We all felt that way, but I have never regretted the decision!

Harder than I Expected...
Miralax and walk. Some of the pain could be intestinal. Don't let it go too long before you have a good BM. Benefiber did nothing for me.

Gas pain
Walking and swinging my arms helped, and a heating pad on my back.

My Band
It was go out and eat an egg. Thought it might make her feel better since she seems to be in foul humour. Attacks on forum members like Cheryl are not acceptable, especially when they are trying to understand your situation. We do not back down either, so block us or move on.

Need Daily Weigh-in Email Buddy
I would advise against weighing every day. You will drive yourself nuts. Our bodies can fluctuate up to 8 pounds in one day. Try weekly instead.

Where did my fill go??
You need to see a doctor. If you don't like the original one... find a substitute.
-
Upset
I recommend you check in with the surgeon's office. The post-op diet normally has phases and you should have advanced by now. Confirm it with the office or nutritionist.

Gas pain
Walk, heating pad on back of shoulders, walk. Most of the pain is from the CO2 they pumped in to operate. I found that gasX did not help that much. Try warm teas as well and sit in a recliner. Oh... and did I say walk?

The insurance and hospital will sort it out.

weight watchers
I gave up on WW when my group leader ballooned up to 326 pounds. I don't want to diet, I want to change my life.

You are given instructions for a reason!
Cheryl... you mean they are not used for starting fires in the fireplace? Dang... that's where I went wrong. No worries.... you get what you work for! Love the post!

Where did my fill go??
The doc visit will tell all. Make sure they take it all out to measure what's there and then refill. That way you will know for sure what is there.

how long after the lap bang surgery can you start back having sex?
Do what is comfortable. If it hurts, stop or change positions.
-
unfill
Always ask at the office. Doctors vary, and may not always remember to say what you need to know.

Great News!
Best wishes to you! Happy to hear of your approval and quick date! Come back to let us know how you are doing after the surgery! We will be here.
