  5. Yes, I claimed my self pay last year.
  6. I had a Chinese woman who kept asking me if I had cut my hair. Took her 6 months to decide I had lost weight! LOL I think she was afraid to offend me!
  7. Same here... usually I hiccup just once and it is my signal that I am full. Annoying, but a good reminder.
  8. When your band has proper restriction yes, one cup of food is enough to fill me up.

  11. I can eat everything in salad except the lettuce. Has been a problem since I started on solid foods. I make salads with all the goodies and no lettuce, and have no problems if i chew, chew, chew! I am about 16 months. Several people report problems with salad I have seen,k but mine is just lettuce. It must stick to the side of the pouch or something, not a doc so don't really know. Good luck.
  12. Go back to where you started and follow the food progression your practice gave you. If you don't have it or can't find it call and ask for a new copy. It would probably be a good idea to check in with them anyways.
  13. Probably ate to fast... yes, you even have to chew jello! Good news is it will dissolve and pass the band quickly.
  14. Do you have a pre-op diet? If so the fun starts there. Often it is liquids only, or mostly liquids. Post-op is nearly always liquid Protein drinks and lots of other fluids, non-protein. I would suggest that you start trying our both ready mixed and powder forms of protein. Try to keep the sugar content low. I use

  23. Many people who lose a lot of weight have to have their gall bladder removed. So be happy yours is already gone!
  24. As the fish cools, the juices flow out and it gets denser and dryer. Try to zap it the microwave a few seconds to see if that helps.
