Doctor holding back fills
Track your food, and weigh or measure. It is the only way to be sure you are eating the correct amounts of the right foods. Plateaus are common, some lasting for several weeks. Fills are not the the solution to weight loss. Good food management, healthy choices, exercise and a positive attitude go a long ways. As someone who has been TOO FULL, trust me, you don't want to go there. Make sure you are getting your fluids in every day. You chose the doctor, now listen to him, he has done this before and you have not. You need to trust his advice. Best wishes.

banded march 20th
You can add Benefiber to your liquids, it dissolves clear, no clumping. If that does not help, then try Miralax. It also dissolves clear and is a non cramping laxative recommended by my surgeon's NP. Even after 16 months, I need a half dose of Miralax daily to keep me moving. The high protein diet affects some people that way. If you do not have success within 5 days, call you doctor. You do not want an intestinal blockage. Many will recommend Potassium Citrate, available in most drug stores.

Question. Fluro
No, it is a fluro fill. The xray just watches the barium go down to ensure everything is working correctly. The fill liquid is always saline.

Boyfriend didnt agree with surgery
He either gets it or he doesn't. I would give him the space to come around. If he doesn't you will soon be so gorgeous there will be plenty of replacement offers. Being healthy is the most important part of life and enjoying life. You made a decision for you, hooray. Now he can get on board or the train will eave the station.

Getting nervous and low grade fever
Good... at least you can stop worrying about it! They will likely give you antibiotics during or after surgery.

Survived initial consult ..barely
It is important to be comfortable with the medical team that is involved in your lap band process. I agree with the poster above. You might want to interview another place and see it you can find a fit.

Overeater!
Over full is an awful feeling, but you now you know to keep on measuring. As you progress you may find that you have to stop early, 4oz will be too much. Listen to your body. Usually you will get a soft stop signal, hiccup, runny nose, etc. When you do. STOP. Wait for at least 15 minutes and decide and I really still hungry. Very good call on going back to liquids for a bit, but sip small amounts. Remember it is a funnel effect, and you can back up on liquids too. Congrats on your success so far. Sounds like you are doing well and showing good judgement. Best wishes going forward!
