  1. Congratulations on beginning you journey to a new lifestyle and a healthier you!
  2. Sip, Sip, Sip. and do walk as much as possible.
  3. Great blog Cheryl! A good perspective.
  4. Sip, sip, sip. small amounts at a time is best. You are still swollen.
  5. Yay! Thanks for the info Missy!
  6. Your band is telling you to stop. Continue at your own risk. My experience has been stuck, PB or slime when I try to push past it. Good luck!
  7. Congrats on your progress. Some people need to hit up side the head with a 2x4! LOL
  8. I never heard this before... hopefully someone will answer both of us?
  9. Keep reading the forums. I am sure your questions will get answered. Check out the articles section.
  10. Absolutely, I love it!
  11. What is your calorie intake daily? We all hit these roadblocks. Keeping doing the right things and it will move again.
  12. Good luck with the fill. Every pound counts. Our own brains are the last to see the changes. Not unusual at all!
  13. The most important exercise session is your next one. Make it today!
  14. I too had no pre-op diet. Every doctor is different.
  15. Generally speaking posts that start with a question like yours tell me you already know the answer. What is point of meeting some one month challenge? The goal is lifestyle change and it you cheat on a meaningless challenge, it looks bad for your long term compliance on the band. IMHO
  16. B-52.... didn't you say you were going to leave this forum for a year? What ever happened with that? Maybe you needed it more than you thought?
  17. Wishing you a speedy recovery with no further complications!
  18. Weight loss is good, but you really need to try to get your protein in daily.
  19. I was never hungry but got all my protein in the first 3 weeks. As others have said... consider this your honeymoon. It will not last forever!
  20. Can't eat lamb. Good for those of you who can!
  21. My surgeon said three meals and 1-2 snacks daily as long I was losing weight.
  22. Should be fine. Depending on your starting weight the lbs fly off at first.
  23. So sorry to hear about your slip. I hope your improved eating habits will win out and you will be successful keeping weight off without the band. Best wishes! Watch the portion sizes and bite sizes, that will keep you eating a the right pace!
  24. Ask for liquids or chewable versions. Better safe than sorry or stuck! I take mine one at a time. If the calcium one is big, look for Calcium citrate minis.... they are much smaller and easier to swallow!
