Think i have hit a brick wall

Recommended Posts

I had a small fill 3 weeks ago. Now I'm setting at a dead stop, no weight loss in several days, I have steadily been loosing since my surg on 12-12-12 lost a total of 50 , but now scales r not moving. Routine still the same, still on treadmill daily, ( can even run now!) any suggestions on how to kick it in gear again??

What is your calorie intake daily? We all hit these roadblocks. Keeping doing the right things and it will move again.

I felt like I was stalling a little and I added a Protein shake to my morning. I have that at 7am and now have my greek yogurt at 9am. Seems to have helped!

Ditto to what Mis73 said. It's not realistic to expect to lose every day. Just keep doing what you are doing and it will catch up.

I feel like I have been losing slow from the very beginning. It's never been constant! I know we are all different, but it frustrates me to read on here and see fast weight loss right after surgeries. I don't have restriction yet and i'm really trying to be patient, but it's S-L-O-W!! It helps to be on here, it keeps me motivated.

Thanks all!!

It's a normal thing to have plateaus. Remember, you didn't gain every day and you won't lose everyday. Follow the rules and you will get to your goal. Don't lose Heart!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
