March 16, 201313 yr I have had the band for two years but have not had much success. I need to really start over and take this seriously or else i will start having medical issued what food plan do you suggest i do? Please help!!!
March 16, 201313 yr What have you done? Do you count calories? Do you get the proper amount of protien? Do you drink enough water? Do you visit your surgeon for fills when needed? Do you exercise? Okay, I will wait to finish the rest of my 20 questions! LOL
March 16, 201313 yr Go back to where you started and follow the food progression your practice gave you. If you don't have it or can't find it call and ask for a new copy. It would probably be a good idea to check in with them anyways.

Do you exercise? Okay' date=' I will wait to finish the rest of my 20 questions! LOL[/quote'] Ive tried everything but stuck to nothing thats the problem i do see my doc and about two months ago had most of the fill out because i had an unrelated surgery and i had to get it out i am a 36 year old mom who is doing most everything by myself i work full time so not tok much free time for me i need a plan i have tried ww , calorie counting, medifast, i wad thinking about jenny craig so annoyed i have to do any of this with the band:( plus i have major stress and little support
March 16, 201313 yr Have you started getting fills again? Without the proper restriction I can see why you could get frustrated!
March 16, 201313 yr Author I feel like people lose the weight without the band and i cant even do it with the band!!!!
March 16, 201313 yr Losing weight boils down to simple math: If you burn more calories than you consume, you lose. If you want to get back on track and losing, start tracking your calories so you can be sure you're not overeating. Also start measuring your portions. Get back into both your surgeon and nutritionist so you can get back track. Best wishes.
March 16, 201313 yr I feel like people lose the weight without the band and i cant even do it with the band!!!! The band is useless without getting the proper restriction from fills! I think you need to do what I did to restart....visit your surgeon!
March 16, 201313 yr Author Do you guys think ww jenny craig or just good ole calorie counting is the best ?? Along with a band tweak??? and if calories what is the range i should be in
March 16, 201313 yr Do you guys think ww jenny craig or just good ole calorie counting is the best ?? Along with a band tweak??? and if calories what is the range i should be in This is why you need to see your nutritionist, too. People's calories ranges go anywhere from 800-1600 calories a day depending on their own nutritional needs. You need to go see your nutritionist so they can help you set up food guidelines specific to your needs and lifestyle.
March 16, 201313 yr Author They always tell me to do shakes though i don't want to live off of shakes im 5 2 about 245 pounds
March 16, 201313 yr Why would a nutritionist tell you to do shakes when you're years past surgery? If that's the case, find a new one. One that will hopefully actually help you.
March 16, 201313 yr Maybe i will seek out a new one i am thinking about 1200 should be good I personally eat 1000-1200 calories a day.
March 16, 201313 yr What kind and how much exercise do you do? I walk 2 miles a day (weather permitting). Currently I'm not at all though because I tore cartilage in my knee. So, I'm keeping my calories closer to 1000 lately to make up for my inactivity.
