  3. I guess you are right, a pound is still a loss! Thanks!
  4. I am so sorry you are having so many issues. It will happen, just be patient. You want to make sure they get you all healed and cleaned up from the botched first surgery so you dont have more issues. Hugs to you, keep the faith!
  5. Yaaay Krystina, best of luck to you! You will love your sleevie! Keep us posted.
  6. I know how you feel, I just broke a 2 week stall...drove me crazy! I too was a ddd and it is time for some new bras! I just hate to spend the money ( they are expensive) and it be too big in a month. Keep up the good work, you are doing fantastic!
  7. Good morning everyone! I was stuck at 191 for the last two weeks...driving me crazy but I finally broke the stall this am....190! I know it is only a pound but it is still a loss...yaaaay! I am ready to get this party re-started...lol!

  11. I started in a size 20 pant and a 2x ( sometimes 3x) top. Now in a size 12 pant and a L shirt...loving it!!!! About 40 more lbs to go....if I could get off my 2 week stall! Doesnt help that aunt flo is here, sure I will start losing again this weekend...hopefully! Keep up the good work everyone!
  12. I hope so! It is amazing to me how different some of them are. Some have the 6 month supervised diet, 2 week pre-op diet etc. I had no supervised diet ( I did give them all the info of the diets I have tried over the years, I am much older than you) and only had a 2 day clear liquid diet before surgery. I would call the weight loss surgeon office and they can tell you about all the requirements you need before surgery.
  13. Woo hoo! Sooo happy for you! Best of luck to you!
  14. Hi Emily, thanks for sharing! I too didnt realize how much stress affected my life. I too am so thankful for my sleevie, I feel sooo much better and I seem to be really enjoying life now. Best of luck on your continued success
  15. I had my first weight loss consult the end of October 2011, and they wanted to do surgery in Dec! I waited till Feb when I could get the time off. The nutrition part was only 2 visits for me so I am not sure how your insurance works. Good luck to you.
  16. Hard to say but 35-45 is reasonable. I am 15 weeks out, down 64, 15 pre-op. I also have been at a stall for the last two weeks, so...hard to say for you but it all depends on how well you follow the protocal, walking, getting enough water, protein etc. Best of luck!
  17. Welcome Veronica! No need to apologize, you were just being truthfull. You will do great, this forum has been a godsend for me, I have gotten so much help and support, it is amazing. Best of luck to you, keep us posted
  18. I am sorry you are both having those issues, hopefully they can be relieved soon, best of luck to you both.
  19. Sounds like you need to change your primary Doctor! I would suggest writing a letter to the hopsital board about her, she does need to be more informed about these procedures, they are saving peoples lives! My Doc was super supportive, I had my first appt one week after I asked her about it. Good luck to you!
  20. You will love it, it is so easy to use and you can personalize it just for you. It also can track your exercise and water intake, I love using it.
  21. I also only use 1/2 of a packet, it seems too sweet if I use the whole packet. I also have tried the Wal-Mart brand of the packets...they are good too, and cheaper!
  22. You stalled for a whole six weeks? I am freaking out over my week and a half stall! Thanks for the encouraging words everyone, I feel better!
  23. Congrats to you! Hopefully you feel a bit better soon.
  24. I use Myfitnesspal, it is a great way to track what you eat.
  25. If that is what it takes...do it. I only like water when it is ice cold and it doesnt stay that way when we can only take sips. I have about 10 different flavors of crystal light so I dont get tired of one flavor.
