  1. Paperwork that I received prior to surgery said to drink only decaf..I tried it and hated it...Month after surgery I asked my dr can i plz have reg coffee and he said yes...He said he can't expect me to stop drinking it b/c he knows that he couldn't..LOL...Been drinking it ever since...

  2. WOW, I think you are both doing great....I was banded on 12/16 and I'm only down 17lbs..yea that's right only 17 lbs..I had my 3rd fill on 3/12 and now I finally feel some restriction. My dr seems fine with the amount of weight i loss, or should I say lack of weight I lost.lol..He says it needs to be slow b/c I'm on the smaller end of a lap band patient. Well i'm glad he feels that way but I'm ready to shed these pounds.

  3. Wow!!! you shouldn't be eating chicken 4 days out, you really need to follow your Dr's orders. You don't want to injure your stomach or your band. You will be hungry and most ppl don't feel restriction until 3 or 4 fills. I'm still new to this as i was only banded 12/16, i just had my 2nd fill last week and i haven't had restriction since my surgery. At this point it's pretty much mind control that stops me from over eating. You've come too far to fail, so plz follow dr's orders.

  4. I was banded on 12/16 and was extremely tired as well..I still get tired mid day at work where I fell that if i blink to long i will fall asleep. I've been taking my vitamins, but i do believe that when i go in next week for my first fill i will have them give me a B12 injection.

  5. hi there, i too had a hernia but dr repaired it when i was banded on 12/16...I wish you luck on your journey. I've read your other post about your depression and abusive relationship, and I pray that you pick yourself up and move forward and NEVER look back. You are a beautiful young lady and I know that you can do this....I would be happy to be your lapband friend, so let's keep in touch...
