2007 Bandster
I agree with steph go get that fill and start again, you have the band, the tool to get what u want, the doctor is only human , its not like u put the weight back on with a full band It happens to many people just bite the bullet and get down the docs, the fear of going is always worse than actually doing it

Milkshake
Maybe your tummy was reacting to all the crap they put in those shakes, theres very little ' good for you milk' in them its starch and sugar .. ugh, it could also be that the shakes are normally very very cold to keep the starch solidified so that they appear 'thick' and the coldness could have made your band tight, its not a great idea to have freezing cold food so soon after surgery I think somewhere around 87 carbs lol Dont beat yourself up over it tho just learn from the experience and talk to your doctor about it

Need To Vent...
I really hope things get sorted out for you .. worst case scenario if you do have to change docotrs isnt that bad, this isnt complicated surgery the success normally comes after with support and proper fills etc so keep in mind that that is what is best to focus on. You have the support of your family too which will help a lot. Hopefully everything will work out for you with your exisiting doctor, if not dont stresss over it, you will still get your surgery and your can look forward to a thinner you

Help,, Need Adive
A weight gain of something like 20lbs could actually make the band tighter again if u have put on visceral fat around your tummy, the same goes if u lose weight the band will often loosen .. i would contact your doctor but just onto liquids for a few days too.

Help, I Think My Hair Is Falling Out!
It is common for hair to thin as a result of extended dieting. Just make sure your protein intake is what is recommended for you by your nutritionist and I take Biotin too it does help, not so much for the loss but to stimulate the regrowth. I have the Biotin shampoo and conditioner too. I take 5000mgs a day its a large capsule but seems to go down ok A nice side effect of Biotin is that your eyelashes grow too, well mine have anyways

Tommorrow Is "b" Day Excited Nervous Scared !! :-/
I hope all goes well with the surgery for you.. Most of us were nervous before the operation about failing afterwards, its only natural to feel like that after struggling with a problem like weight for many many years. Just think to how life will be when the weight starts coming off and keep that in your mind not a 'what if i fail ' thought u need to think 'what if i dont fail'

Water!
I think u need to ask questions like 'why' when u are told not to do something, that way u can get it in your mind the reasons behind such thinking. Most people drink water, its part of life, yes u can get your daily fluid intake from other sources such as food and drink, it doesnt necessarily have to be plain water but water is convenient and easy to drink so i am sure it wont do u any harm at all, based on the fact that the whole world drinks water. You do need to make a quick phone call to your doctors and ask them why

Whats Happening???
It might be that u need to exercise more, some of us manage without exercise and lose weight and some dont. I have to exercise every day otherwise no weight comes off and i make sure its cardio followed by strength/resistance .. if you are on a small plateau small changes can afftect your weight so try and increase what you are doing, for most of us 3 x 25 mins per week on an eliptical wouldnt be enough to drop the more stubborn lbs good luck !

Am I In The Green Zone Or Sweet Spot?
I would def increase to a 1000 calories a day which is my average every week for the past yr and half. I do still get hungry but tend to snack on non fattening food or tea and coffee that sustains me till meal time. I just got back this morning from getting another fill as i could eat faster and chew less than what i was doing so i know my band had loosened up but then they normally do when u lose weight. I got .75 fill today taking me to 8.5 of a 14 band last fill i had was only 0.3 tho so a small fill may solve the issue for u, but let the doc decide tell all and see what he says ..

Help!! Food Stuck And I Am Terrified
If you have been on planes its likely that your band tightened a little .. I would be careful with chicken tho for many of us although we manage chicken fine during the day of a morning it would get stuck .. try eating softer foods of a morning
